Adolf Hitler - Speech on the 7th Anniversary of the Seizure of Power, January 30th, 1940

  • On January 30th, 1940, Adolf Hitler delivered a speech at the Berlin Sportpalast to commemorate the 7th anniversary of Adolf Hitler's appointment as chancellor.
In this speech, Adolf Hitler touches on various themes, emphasizing the notion of what he calls a national rebirth and resurrection and portraying the past seven years as a period of "remarkable achievements" for Germany under Nazi leadership.
This video includes the full speech, which is about an hour long with English subtitles.
This video is dedicated solely to preserve an historical speech, and I vehemently disavow any affiliation with Nazism or anti-Semitism. History is important to preserve, not erase, and we must learn from it. I would like to stress that any comments promoting anti-Semitism or pro-Nazi sentiments will be removed from this videos comment section without exceptions.

@@tristan8041 No. Don't be a smart ass. It's not like a modern politician who speaks with no action to back it up. Also, Hitler's speeches were pretty transparent. It wasn't about "saying nice things", it was about genuine truth and the technical progress made in the Reich. Most people never hear Hitler's speeches like this one. They hear of small segments of Hitler fanatically yelling, and often with no context and then portray him as a type of villain against his own country that simply all "went along" with it out of fear that eeeevil faashists would trample them. Of course primary sources are available. But it takes digging to find them. The point is, most modern people are surprised that Hitler was intelligent and reasonable. John F. The purpose of fascism is to create a capitalist dictatorship. Fascism is created by the ruling class and becomes popular with their support.
Fascists mainly deny individualism, liberalism, and democracy. And they always reject modern achievements such as human right, freedom and say let's go back to the old days. What they are saying is that basically being the hand and foot of totalitarianism is the liberation from poverty. Contrary to their arguments, it never liberates workers. It also does not break down the ruling class. Rather, it intensifies the dictatorship and exploitation of the ruling class. Fascists always imitate the strategies of the left. They seek to further strengthen oppression by deceiving workers. It is a sophistry and we already know that to give all power to the ruling class that made us poor. They are made up of extremists such as Marxist conservatives, nihilists, Christians, ancient philosophers, and right wing so on. They mostly mobilize radical and hateful rhetoric, like dramatic and revolutionary violent action. Violence requires leadership, which leads to a centralized hierarchy. And fascism is designed to have a ruling class at the top of that hierarchy. Realize what you're being dragged into. It will make the forces you hate even stronger, and you become a slave of that hatred. Their only consistency is all attempts to make the far right party gain power. Many dictators advocate socialism, but in reality they are still capitalists who exploit workers.
Fascism is the worst thing that can happen to you, and if you don't know, distance yourself from the worst decision you can make.
To be clear, you currently have no other option than Democrats. Other options will make your miserable life even more horrible.
We must discuss politics without fascism, no matter what.

After His introduction, He would be silent for a time acting like He was going to start speaking any second but, then wait to build suspense. When He did begin speaking it was lower voiced and deliberate. As the Speech went along He would gradually go in crescendo until He was really loud toward the main part of His speech. All the while He was gesticulating with facial expressions to match.

No it wouldn't. Everyone in these comments are bonkers. Anyone who has studied history already understands the REASON why Hitler got into power. Yes, the treaty of Versailles was very bad for everyone for peace. The economy was beyond bad. But the guy killed millions of Jews. Millions of people because HE invaded all of Europe. I listened to the entire speech. He sounds extremely jealous of England. He wanted to prove he could do it too. Also, everyone is sucked into his speech and is praising it. That's exactly how speeches are meant to work. It's often a persuasive tool. Words spoken are not always true words. That's how he gained power. Through speech. It's no wonder he became leader - even after all the facts and history is presented, you still sound in awe of him. You would easily be sucked into everything. I would too. His charisma is off the charts. But that doesn't mean he's right. He supposedly loved the German people, but he let MILLIONS of them be slaughtered for nothing. Nice job.

Trump is a very entertaining & effective speaker, but, it’s crazy how massive of a gap there is, in terms of intellectual depth/vigor and articulateness, between these speeches and those of Trump (not to mention demented Biden). Then again, no politicians in our time produce speeches like this. Although today there are a greater number of people who are nominally literate, I think as a whole we are now dumber, shallower, and worse speakers/writers.

He was a failure, he left his country cut up into 4 pieces, subjugated, disgraced, embarrassed, ruled over by the 4 rivals he promise he’d conquer. Even the Jews, today, are more powerful than ever, while accusations of being “like Hitler” or being “a Nazi” remain sufficient to shout down any White person who dares to try to advocate for his own people’s interests. As compelling and intellectually vital Adolf was, he was in the end an abject failure, and his own nation and his own race are still today picking up the pieces of how spectacularly he failed. Anybody who has love for Europe or who wants to advocate for indigenous Europeans ought to learn from Hitler exactly what not to do. Any advocacy for White people which takes up the mantle of the Nazis will only further hurt White people.

A lot of people in this country (USA) make the ridiculous comparison between Trump and Hitler. They do it because it's dramatic. But in reality 1930s Germany and the present US are completely different times. And the government systems weren't like each other at all. Trump is simply another guy with good and bad points, having worked under a government that does not allow him to be anything else. He was a pretty good president, and probably would do a good job again in the areas of economy and international relations, and of course energy independence, looking after our interests unlike Biden who is handled by his left-wing puppeteers. But President or not, Trump will eventually leave the scene and others will take his place. He will do some good things if he gets elected, and he will screw up. They all do. That's about it, sorry to say to those who crave the drama of the Nazi comparisons.

Incredible recording. This recording is 84 years old, yet I can understand every single word.
How can this man, who has never been violent himself, willingly cause the death of over 40 million people? Some things in this world will never make sense.

You can't deny that this man had an wondrous capacity for making such engaging speeches that probably must've held the Germans with feelings of hope and incoming redemption for their nation, a feeling his own voice nonetheless did place there.

Try to sit there and not agree with anything he says. Right there in the back hopefully. Like the very back so nobody sees you not jeering or clapping. Then you understand the power of the enraged masses over the individual. Then try to imagine these same people coming for you. That's what happened. My grandpa at the end of his life, delirious in the hospital, still yelling, "The Germans are coming! The Germans are coming!" The fear of these people never left him. What a murderous criminal this man was.
