such a beautiful Cathedral!

True, it is really awesome walking into that huge space, truly jaw dropping.
The destruction of the mosaics inside Hagia Sofia was one of history's greatest cultural crimes.

You can not turn a beautiful church into a mosque. As long as the church still stands it will always be an Eastern Orthodox monument.
Eh? Sure you can, although build as a magnificent church it is used as a mosque since 1453. I’d say the usage defines the name of a building.

If you want to pray you can visit a Mosque. Hagia Sofia is a Greek Orthodox Church.

The pantheon is larger and extremely more complicated.
It also has never been added on to or redone.

Why are turks talk about Ayia Sofia??
The greeks built it, not the turks
Please be accurate. The church is Byzantine and not from Turkey. Turkey never built the church, the Turks stole the land and the church.
And the original congregation went to russia and became the russian orthodox.
Conquered. Not stole.
Catholics and Latins "stole" and raped the city, Turks conquered it. That's why Loukas Notaras famously wrote in a letter "I would rather see a Turkish turban in the midst of the City than the Latin mitre."
