That struck me as well but it's just a formatting thing. The 'remove' link isn't visually aligned well with the inputs. Take a closer look and you'll see it is working as designed ;) Thanks for the vid DR - definitely keen to find better solution for RoR nested forms avoiding Cocoon - hacking something to get it to work not my buzz and the Cocoon renders are a pain to correct so they look right.

Using a small random number as the child index is quite risky. This will discard one item if the child_index is the same
it would have been great to explain the inline edit.
The remove button is hiding/removing the wrong input.
