I can think of only two American bands that could go toe-to-toe with these young women--Polyphia and Animals as Leaders. The fact that Hagane are still only in the second tier of Japanese girl bands should scare the shit out of American producers. (With a little luck, Hagane will achieve top-tier status--they deserve it.)
I love this band so much. 2024 has been a great year for HaganE. early Christmas gift to us all to have this new song, was not expecting this at all. love it. and I love them all, but in this one I am so happy to see SAYAKA more whom I love dearly and get to hear her bass line since the song actually breaths and is mixed well enough to really get to enjoy her bass line which is normally a bit more melted into the drums. She's outstanding. I saw you grab your left ear and I had a feeling you were digging into SAYAKA's bass line there right before the breakdown where we really got to hear it shine in a mini solo and the song is IMO bass driven. so good. great energy from them all, musically and in the entertaining video as well. Super group, they can do anything, Sakura, Sayaka, Nagi and Junna...what more you can say...just sit and listen...incredible song
