That is called stabbing at the back not bravery because it was already decided before Kargil war that both the troops will fall back during winters but for Pakistani it is tactics. India should learn from Pakistan this back stabbing tactics and I think India will.

@@ShanBinZafarAbbasi know your history clearly than debate. Siachen was an un-demarketed area while partition was done because of it's glaciers. When no troops were present in Siachen Pakistan tried to promote it as it's own by sending foreign tourists from it's side. Later on they tried to take it by placing Pakistani troops on those tops but the contract given to the foreign company for their cold equipment had close ties with India and informed India about these plans. Then India captured those heights by airlifting Indian troops into those heights. Moreover Pakistan has no claims to Kashmir also because "The instrument of Accession" is signed by the king of Kashmir and India after Independence making it a part of India.

IAF did attack a main supply base at Munto Dhalo, thereafter Pakistani Logistics simply Collapsed and thats when they started retreating.
The Truth will always remain that it was Musharrafs Pet Project to take Revenge of Siachen , was ill planned and ill equiped and Didnt even manage to make any territorial gains. The only thing Pakistani Military uses to Legitimise this misadventure was Pt 5353, which honestly was demilitarised to begin with, Indian Army had no permanent post there and it was bang on Line of control so ROE prevented the army to assault that Position. In exchange Army Occupied pt 5070 in Pakistani territory as an Observation post in case The Pakis try something stupid, they will get blasted. Pakistani Army failed to meet any Tactical Objectives. Such was the defeat that Pak Army even refused to Claim its Soldiers Bodies until 2004.
Indian Army Leadership made many mistakes, But the thing is that we as people are free to discuss those things. Even till now we are talking about it. Necessary steps were taken so that this never happens again. Pak Army on the other hand is immune to Criticism. There is no accountability.
Pakistan was defeated in Drass sector. As Musharaf was present in Siachin and he himself tasted the defeat by India. As a foolish general he took that defeat personally and planned Kargil.
NH1 was always under Indian control and Pakistan was not able to hamper the supply root of Siachin so entire kargil operation was just to satisfy the ego of Musharaf
Point 5353 and Marpo La Pass are in Drass sector. Without taking back these two crucial points how can someone say Pak was defeated in Drass? If i was Musharaf, i would had done the same thing. Kargil was perfect revenge of Siachen.

Pakistani Army attacked and captured was not courageous work. According to rules both armies left their post when snow falls becomes. But pakistani army did not do it that tells how is your intentions.

When India's jugular was with your army, why did your political leadership panic and PM Nawaz Sharief rushed to US President Bill Clinton on their very historic 4 July celebrations day, pleading for immediate intervention for a ceasefire ? These acts prove the following - 1. Occupation of winter vacated heights (which Indian Intelligence could not detect) by Pak Army was a tactical victory akin to backstabbing your neighbour - India too, could have done likewise anytime, but India has always respected the LoC, unlike Pak. 2. Pak continues to occupy certain heights - well - are they on Indian side of the LoC ? If they are, please be elaborate on their pin point locations, Sir. the fact is, they are NOT. These are right on the LoC or within Pak side of the LoC. You should be grateful that India, after winning the war in Kargil, did not cross the LoC and take the fight into Pakistan - this is where the difference is - else kya bachta aapka......You are welcome to refute this claim, but do so with evidence, please. 3. Today, with the benefit of hindsight, you claim that Indians buried bodies of Pakistani soldiers immediately after the battle - without ever getting these bodies down or without informing the Pak Army authorities about it. Well Sir, the fact is that at that time, during the war, Pakistan was vociferous in claiming that there were NO PAKISTAN ARMY REGULARS on these heights - that these were all Mujahideen- to whom Pak can only provide moral and logistics support. THIS IS THE REALITY. The TH-cam Video showing Pakistani troops taking over bodies from Indian soldiers is of the time when Tiger Hill had been captured and Indian victory to regain their territory had been completed. By that time, 8 Pak Army regulars Prisoners Of War captured by indian troops, had been televised by Indian and world media, exposing the pakistan lie that thheir army was not participating in the operation- Pak was exposed to the world and shamelessly, at that. They had to accept that their regulars were the participants, which you show fightig in your this video, too. Why dont you show Mujahideens fighting, otherwise. But at last you mentioned "opening of borders, friendship and trade", to this, I disagree as Pakistani Army who control it's country don't have the intent to do so.
