Nongjrong is a small village nestled on the top of the mountain in the east khasi hills district of Meghalaya India. During the winter months the valley is surrounded by thick white clouds appearing as though one is above the clouds literally! 🌥️🌤️ The road from Guwahati to Nongjrong is good, it’s takes up to 4 hours nonstop from Guwahati and 1 hour 45 minute from Shillong. We were allowed to camp after permission along with fee, and we ensured not to cause any ruckus and noise. At the entry gate, one must pay entry fee and vehicle parking fee, for the sunrise one must leave their home at 1am-3am if coming from Shillong, in the northeast the sunrise is early around 5:30, the temperature is freezing cold so dress warmly with many layers. The best month to visit is October to February, my favourite is November. Also a request to you all, please maintain decency and decorum when visiting because at the entry gate we were told that people sometimes are very loud, with music blasting on the speakers at 3am, so it disturbs the children of the village, they don’t get sound sleep. The clips are taken from phone, Gopro and camera, maybe the quality is clashing🤷🏻♀️😅 Any advice on how to tackle the quality of im combining clips from phone camera and GoPro?
