During 1964,65 I used to attend Dikshidar's pravachanam with my father.Now I recollects that time.At Thrissur,Vadakke samooham 7pm to 10.30pm full crowd,pin drop silence audience,full bhakthi.I just recollect those days.Pranams Dikshidar.

I was very young when HE attained Samadhi. This is only my tremendous misfortune not to hear HIM in person after my maturity towards Spirituality & Ithihasa Purangal full of WISDOM and transform humans to higher level of existence.
Thanks a lot. I re collect 1967 pravachanam at sankara madam Bangalore it was for 2+hours a great feast for a pin drop silent audience in an open hall as always. Open hall was not always but pin drop attentive audience as usual. He was unparalleled stalwart a great asset to Pious people

Iyyavin ubanyasam ungalidam yedhenum ullatha iyya
Mahaan Shri Dikshithar's wonderful series of Upanyasams on Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavatham drew houseful audiences . Great leaders attended them with avid interest to know better anout India's eternal, universally valuable culture. The audiences included - apart from large numbers of ordinary people - leaders from various areas, such as the the likes of GNB (music), Rajaji (politics) and often with him, Shri KM Munshi, a great scholar, writer and follower of India's eternal cultural values (for which he founded the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan as a centre for publishing and propagation in various ways.)
It is very gratifying to know that like Dikshithar, several contemporaries are carrying on the Upanyasam tradition - for ex. some of his highly accomplished relatives and others such as Sundar Kumar and Dushyanth Shridhar - who are adept at traditional Upanyasam style of delivery of India's spiritual message based on years of devoted study of the great Epics, Puranas, and numerous works of Vedic scripture.
Of course we are fortunate that several people and organizations like Kosmic are providing commendable service to society - making judicious use of technology - by making widely available all the treasures from these stalwarts and the contributions of present day greats.
We, the beneficiaries of the wisdom dished out to us as nectarine Prasaadam, are highly indebted to all of them and it is in our interests to support them by "listening, subscribing and dlsharinf" - and helping them in every way as possible.
