Rabbit on : which describes someone talking so much so they had become boring to listen to. Cool cat : which describes someone who's funny, charming, and quite often relaxed Pet hate : which describes something that personally annoys you. as sick as a parrot : which we can use when we're very disappointed about something bitten by the bug : which means to become interested and excited in doing something bug someone: which means something is irritating or annoying someone. dog's dinner: which means, a total mess
Could you please explain difference between past subjunctive and past indicative mood? Suppose i want to speculate about past without having knowledge about that then how could i? For example, 1) If he attended the wedding, he might have met bride. (here i don't have any piece of information about him going to the wedding, I'm just speculating) 2) If she went to the school today, undoubtedly she must have shown her homework. 3) If she was being rude, then she must have said sorry. (because i know her she's rational and gentle) 🙏
Rabbit on - continue talking about dull stuff without stop. I used to rabbit on when it came to the plot of my favorite books, when I was a child. Noone was interested in it, but I didn't care. Cool cat = charming, attractive, fashionable I will be a cool cat in this enchanting shirt I want to be a cool cat one day. An Early bird/ a Lazy bird I want to become an early bird, but now I am only in the stage of being a lazy bird. My pet hate is when someone interrupts or distracts me from my work. His pet peeve is when someone is coming into his room talking out loud. Pet hate / pet peeve = personal dislikes As sick as a parrot = disappointed I am as sick as a parrot from your gossips I have been bitten by the exercise bug. I can't stop from doing my exercises every morning. Bitten by the (fitness/ travel) bug = become interested in subject I have been bitten by the travel bug. I am always looking for a brand-new country for visiting. Bug someone - irritating someone Never, Lis, bug me with your paperwork. I am on vacation. A dog's dinner = a complete mess If I am not cleaning my room, it will look like a dog's dinner Don't bug me with your questions. I only know that I know nothing.
