    I love how well you are able to express the way your brain thinks. I also think in pictures, and then I also look for patterns. I've tried to get diagnosed as an adult, but in Canada I am being met with drs. Not working with females. Thank you for sharing, it has meant alot to me, that I can SEE someone else that thinks like me. Also your advice on raising an autistic child , I find so helpful and direct.

    My son who has ds-asd seems to remember what song was playing during a movie, event , or songs certain people listen to in their cars when he is with them. He has typically single word utterances but can talk more with prompts.

    im autistic and im proud! i dont care what they negatively say about me! i just well... want to fit in but with everything they sayi probably wont for quite some time...

    @CJOKUSAP That's a good way to teach them. I think some kids with autism also just don't have a concept of "rude" or "nice". I think this is an example of not understanding empathy.

    name calling is not nice.
