One thing many people don't realize is that in order for someone to get to this level of intimacy with the Holy Spirit in their life, it takes LOTS of fasting (that means pushing your plate aside & going without food for extended periods of time while you pray and seek God through scripture). Many Christians in our modern day don't practice fasting like the saints of old & we wonder why our modern day Church don't see the signs, mighty miracles, and moves of God like they used to...If we want to see real power, fasting has got to become the norm again. @ No one ever said fasting was more important than integrity. Integrity is VERY important and fasting actually helps strengthen integrity in the life of the believer. Fasting is powerful because it humbles us and helps us surrender our will in exchange for God’s will. Integrity will definitely be a byproduct of that for sure.
Some people fast a lot but don’t have a relationship with God.relationship with God is key.spending more time in his presence and becoming the word.and there’s also grace .sometimes ppl don’t have to fast for long and all but the grace of God makes things easier for them
Thank God for her life. I learned that at her death in hospital, there was the Fragrance of Roses in the environs. She actually requested Roses at her funeral. But Jesus, the Rose of Sharon, honoured her request before her funeral. The Fragrance of Roses in the environs was confirmation that Jesus, the Rose of Sharon, had come to take her Home. Wowwwww she was lost in God and the Holy Spirit!!! I don’t care of others negative responses about her she knew who she was who she lived for and who died for her! She was an unique & peculiar Woman of God! I love how she was totally sold out for Christ!! This is how we should be as believers of Jesus Christ! If you have a relationship & not a religious ship with Jesus, you will know who is at work in her & it is the Holy Ghost!
Not only that, her theology was sound and she never veered off into the excesses we see today in the "word of faith" movement. She never taught that we are "little gods" or that Jesus had to die spiritually and go to hell and suffer the pains of hell, just for starters. She did not worship "faith as a force", but bowed before the mystery of suffering in relation to divine healing, etc.
I was watching Katherine on my computer for hours one day. Then I called a prayer ministry to pray over something. The woman on the phone became VERY excited. She said "you have the anointing for miracles and healings"!!!! I was trying to explain but she just went on and on.....
She was right, that was the gift of the Word of Knowledge @work in that woman, I was also told such similar things, in many prophetic encounters I had in walk with Christ, I am a young man, 23 years old this year, and I'm already praying for the sick people, I prayed for a womb, leg, and a deaf ear, and they were all healed and restored. I always feel like my relationship with God gets more intense when I start fasting, don't watch secular TV, secular movies, I already don't listen to secular music...but God begins to speak to me more frequently & His voice isn't so hard to hear. I believe keeping the temple holy & not taking in secular entertainment is something every Christian should be doing. God has been convicting me to not even allow a little bit in. I have much more time to pray now & seek Him than I did before. The things of the world truly are distractions. I believe this woman completely gave her entire self & entire attention to God. I think if we all did the same our country would break out in revival. All the Lord wants are willing vessels who are willing to decrease so the He can increase.

FEW know more about Kuhlman than I, and her proper label should have been "religious entertainer," the only calling she was very good at.
The Holy Spirit touched my heart through this woman in 1971, when I saw her on television. I knew almost nothing about God at the time, then she became part of my testimony. Now, 48 years later, I still discern she was bonafide. Loved God completely. He poured through her.

Hi Ian, Wow, yeah. You're right, now that I think about it. What a blessing to have that experience. I'm no expert, and I'm confident there are evangelists alive today with equal anointing. But I gotta tell you, there was something unique about Kathryn Kuhlman. She was so humble. So gracious. And so beautifully feminine. And to be honest, I have never heard anyone speak about the exploits of other evangelists like they did Kathryn.I've heard accounts from far and wide. Stories about how busloads of people would be heading to her meetings and the Holy Spirit would heal many before they even arrived. Some talked about how when they got to the meeting, the building was full and the doors were closed, but people stayed because the heaviness of the presence of God was so great that they stayed and fellowshipped right outside the doors. All these years later, and I still hear incredible things about the anointing she had. Even from people who had an even greater privilege to know her. I worked for the Dean of Theology and Ministry at CBN years ago. Dr. Horner. He told me he flew on the same plane with her one time, and that she was authentic. Humble, precious and in love with Jesus.

WOW! When there's no other words, just use WOW! This is some old time preaching, the way it should be in this very day! She's passionate for Christ. I love how passionate she is. We are all walking around thinking about having such a passion, and there's times "here and there" we feel the spirit this powerful, then it fades......it fades back to us returning to work, functioning in our lives, making dinner, responsibilities, taking care of our OWN wants and needs and it fades when the enemy creeps back into our minds, our egos and our lives ANY way he can slither through.......These things we do daily some being out of love for others/family and some being out of love for our own selfishness. True passion for Christ is what we need to become spiritually awakened in ourselves and our country and our families and people who don't believe or don't know what to believe in. We need to stand up for God and the Spirit DAILY. Commit our EVERYTHING EVERY MOMENT EVERY THOUGH EVERY DEED EVERY MEDITATION OF OUR HEARTS TO HIM! Before I was saved I thought Ms Kulman was very strange but now that I'm Holy Spirit filled I get her passion. She was also a product of her times so her way of teaching may seem odd in todays culture. I believe she was absolutely sincere in her service to God and people. Her results say it all. Not only that, her theology was sound and she never veered off into the excesses we see today in the "word of faith" movement. She never taught that we are "little gods" or that Jesus had to die spiritually and go to hell and suffer the pains of hell, just for starters. She did not worship "faith as a force", but bowed before the mystery of suffering in relation to divine healing, etc.
I was watching Katherine on my computer for hours one day. Then I called a prayer ministry to pray over something. The woman on the phone became VERY excited. She said "you have the anointing for miracles and healings"!!!! I was trying to explain but she just went on and on.....
She was right, that was the gift of the Word of Knowledge @work in that woman, I was also told such similar things, in many prophetic encounters I had in walk with Christ, I am a young man, 23 years old this year, and I'm already praying for the sick people, I prayed for a womb, leg, and a deaf ear, and they were all healed and restored. I always feel like my relationship with God gets more intense when I start fasting, don't watch secular TV, secular movies, I already don't listen to secular music...but God begins to speak to me more frequently & His voice isn't so hard to hear. I believe keeping the temple holy & not taking in secular entertainment is something every Christian should be doing. God has been convicting me to not even allow a little bit in. I have much more time to pray now & seek Him than I did before. The things of the world truly are distractions. I believe this woman completely gave her entire self & entire attention to God. I think if we all did the same our country would break out in revival. All the Lord wants are willing vessels who are willing to decrease so the He can increase.

Hi Ian, Wow, yeah. You're right, now that I think about it. What a blessing to have that experience. I'm no expert, and I'm confident there are evangelists alive today with equal anointing. But I gotta tell you, there was something unique about Kathryn Kuhlman. She was so humble. So gracious. And so beautifully feminine. And to be honest, I have never heard anyone speak about the exploits of other evangelists like they did Kathryn.I've heard accounts from far and wide. Stories about how busloads of people would be heading to her meetings and the Holy Spirit would heal many before they even arrived. Some talked about how when they got to the meeting, the building was full and the doors were closed, but people stayed because the heaviness of the presence of God was so great that they stayed and fellowshipped right outside the doors. All these years later, and I still hear incredible things about the anointing she had. Even from people who had an even greater privilege to know her. I worked for the Dean of Theology and Ministry at CBN years ago. Dr. Horner. He told me he flew on the same plane with her one time, and that she was authentic. Humble, precious and in love with Jesus.

Before I was saved I thought Ms Kulman was very strange but now that I'm Holy Spirit filled I get her passion. She was also a product of her times so her way of teaching may seem odd in todays culture. I believe she was absolutely sincere in her service to God and people. Her results say it all. Testimony time! I'm 2 weeks of fully surrendering & submitted to Christ. Wife & Both. She has always had hard time hearing & I hear very clearly the HS. She is able to dance in the Spirit & hear HIM in the music! PRAISE JESUS! Plus HS & Jesus have been downloading TONS of Revelation!! What John Said "little children Love that was his last sermons.
He sent me to the Santa Cruz mountains on my motorcycle this morning @5ish to bring down the demonic mountains & giants.
