ngl, seeing your boys so happy and developing so well is in a sense very healing to me. it's so good to see that not every child has to go through the things i had to go through and that some kids get to have a good and healthy childhood. you're amazing and i respect you for admitting being a mum is hard but you're still pushing on. i really love your content, it relaxes me.

Enjoy the littleness of your boys, it goes by so fast. Plus, it’ll triple your grocery budget. When my boys were little they loved cars, mostly the matchbox type but all cars too. They even had bedding in the “Cars” cartoon. It was all about the cars! 🚙 🚘 🚗
I always made sure to make learning fun for my son and now that he's nearly twelve, he still genuinely enjoys school most of the time. As it got less play oriented and as covid had him have to do home schooling, he doesn't love it like he used to, but his first day of school had him more upset about having to go home than he was to be there. He ran off as soon as we told him to go to school and started playing. We didn't even get to say goodbye. He cried for a moment when he realized we weren't there anymore and looking back on it, I feel really bad about it, but the teacher did tell us that he was only upset for a second then was distracted into being his normal happy self. And like I said, lol, he was more upset to be going home. That was until we told him get gets to return the next day haha.
But yeah, getting a kid excited about learning and school, pointing out all the positives and hyping them up works super well.
So much respect for you. You work hard as hell and manage everything really well in your life. I don’t have kids and still struggle EVERY DAY to sit down and finish a piece. Love the vlog … definitely do more. Hope you know how much the art community loves and supports you! ✊🖤

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see these videos from an artist SAHM perspective. You balance home life and art life soooo well!
The things you do with your boys literally gave me the feels and reminded me of what me and my son did when he was younger. Swings, snow, forts, lightsabers, scavenger hunts, getting popped with a nerf dart during nerf “battles” making his own story books, building blocks, making paper buildings and playing with Godzilla figures, forts, just bittersweet and seemed like it was seriously only last week.

Your kids looks so incredibly happy. Espicially your oldest. His smile is so bright and he truly is a great example of how good a mom you are. I can't believe how happy he looks learning, it shows what a incredible job you do of making it special for them. You brought me to tears seeing how happy you make your kids, and i'm thankful that they get to have such a good childhood. Most kids don't.
My oldest was very academically inclined too and he even started to teach my younger bloop to read when he was 3 and a half! Both my blippers are avid readers 📚

A little regret I carry is not being more intentional when my children were little. More was done because it was "supposed" to be rather than thinking about what to do because we were together. Consequently, I was exhausted and, though very happy and blessed, didn't really notice that I was. You seem like you will not have the same regret. Lucky you, your husband, your Mom and your boys! If I had it all to do again...

Emily, we kinda have similar things we do throughout our day. I usually have a cup of coffee, have orange juice, do my work in the morning. Write after lunch because it switches my brain to writing. Or I set up a bullet journal. Then I mainly get to bed around 9pm. But with daylight savings ending it's usually 8pm. I don't really eat that much throughout the day because drawing takes up most of my day. I love watching you're videos. Stay out of trouble!

Omg your hair texture is exactly like mine! It’s good to know that you mention what product you use I always have a hard time figuring out how to make my hair feel more manageable. Because it’s so coarse and thick and kind of dry feeling .

Right now, I only do light workouts about 3 days a week. I’m really thin and unhappy with it so I’m trying to take in more calories than I’m burning. But it’s hard because just chasing the kids around is a workout!

I had a German Shepard and Malamute mix growing up, and she blew coat in the same way. We called the tuffs of fur “fur darts” and there would be discussions about when the fur darts were ripe for plucking. LoL

But second, pls be careful using function of beauty! I'm sure you know what's best for you so I won't fearmonger but please keep an eye out for hair loss if that's a thing that worries you.

Tea tree soap is effective for body odours. There are specially formulated soap bars and shampoos for dogs out there. You need to pre-treat the ears with the tea tree soap / shampoo for 15 - 30 minutes and then rinse it off. And then she'll go back to smelling like fresh daisies.

I remember back when you first posted your first video. The story time, I was constantly watching after that. Pushed forward to continue art as a hobby and now somewhat of a job. It’s so heartwarming to see that you’ve come so far and still give us the same Emily.

I am so glad you share this. I am trying to make the tough transition to SAH mom, artist, and student now that my husband is back at work. This gives me a better idea of what would be realistically manageable for my YT channel as well as what reasonable expectations are for myself (on the momming front). Evidently your video is only an ideal day lol but I can relate very close to it as far as my work flow and kids/chores/oth activities go (I have 2 dogs, too). So ty again
I'm going through a tough time atm and watching something as simple and genuine as this gets me teary eyed. The world is such a tough place.... Any happy, modest little chunk of peace and safety you can carve out for yourself is such a huge victory in the wake of all the pain and hardships. i loved when dogs would come into the groomers like that, the fur just falls out, made the job so much easier with the big dogs to make them look nice and shiny. my dog doesnt do that, just sheds EVERYWHERE :/
