Thank you Kyle. I just bought this machine and the instructions without pictures didn’t clearly explain the choke. Your video was exactly what I needed for the electric start method….

Sorry buddy but you’ve got the settings for the choke all wrong! On a cold engine, the slide control goes to the far left to start! Once running, you slide it right as the engine warms up until it ends up to the far right! Look at the symbols. The one on the left shows the valve blocking air flow which provides a richer mixture to start. The symbol on the right shows the valve fully open providing for full air flow and a leaner mixture to operate.

I was going to say the same thing. Full choke to start, ease back to half after a bit, then choke completely off to start blowing snow.

I recently bought one from my neighbor that moved. It's basically new. He used it once for a half hour last winter. I'm having trouble turning it on as I just want to "Summerize" it and have it ready if and when it snows heavily. I may have to get it looked at if I can't get it started with this valuable tutorial. Thanks.

Horrendous conditions through out the US.
I heard that some states are experiencing -30 , maybe more.
Ideal machine to help with those conditions.
    Stay safe and warm.

Thanks for this! No wonder I have had issues strating mine! I had the lever to the left vs the right. It would not start, Then to the right (Choke) it starts so then if I push the lever all the way to the left it stalls. But your video shows to put the red lever in the middle. Now I know what I was doing wrong (Pull start). Thanks for doing this video man!

Mine is not even a year old and it's not turning on. I tried both the plug way and the manual. Gas is filled, it's primed. What am I missing?

do you need a specific starter for a specific snow blower or are most of them interchangeable?

I watched at least 2 videos, telling me that the choke leaver is supposed to start on the right.
I wasted hours, trying to start the blower, only for my neighbor to say it has to start on the left, and it started right away. You only pull the lever in the direction of right, after it starts up.

Why don't you use the choke to start? The right side is NO choke, Left is choke. Just wondering. My same unit arrives Saturday and will try it out. Thanks
