There are only 3 people I would put ahead of Emmylou Harris on my list of all time favorite ladies, My Mom, and both of my Grandmas. And my mom was a fan. Emmylou actually bridged the generation gap at our house.
Emmylou is the best voice to ever set foot on a stage anywhere.....there has never been anyone like her and there never will be.....at 2:53 when she says "Every time i had to play while people sat there drunk."...... I get chills.
I have always admired the mandoline player, fantastic, congratulation, is he the one who has been with Emmylou Harris for sometimes now? They are all very good and of course theee performer, Emmylou!
Sam Bush really gets into it. Looks like he really enjoys himself. I get a kick out of watching his fiddle work on the latest version of EmmyLou’s “C’est la vie” that is posted elsewhere here on TH-cam. I crack up every time he approaches the steel guitar player in that one!
For us Americans, this must have been September 1, not January 9. Otherwise the Mets would not have been playing. Unbelievably, the under-500 Mets beat the mighty Atlanta Braves 6-5. A rare occurrence indeed!
