Fantastic informative video guys! :) I'm hopefully getting myself some bird-skull weights for my ears soon. The Undertones are a Punk rock/New Wave band from my home town of Derry, Northern Ireland!
I'm curious if a smaller ear weight is okay for someone who clearly has a larger ear hole, simply cus they want something lighter so that their ear doesn't get weighed down. Or at least not so much to not at all.
I have the first pair of glass spirals (in a different colour) from UrbanBodyJewelry (they just cane in the mail a few days ago)… I love their store! I love the Raven steel hangers, here in Baltimore, Maryland the raven is a popular image lol
How is the magnet on the black clickers with the hinges? Are they OK for everyday wear? Could they be left in overnight and stay closed and/or worn everyday comfortably if you are the same size as the current gauge?
I just want y'all to like make a talk show or something, this was such a fun and funny informative video. Shout-out to your editor, A+ funny creative edits
I had bought the black pearl rhombus hangers and it said 2g (6mm) was the minimum required size to wear them but I’m at a 00g (10mm) and can’t make them get in
I need guidance! I recently stretched up to 5/8" and I woke up to my right ear sooo painful and swollen after waiting it out all day it onky got worse so I took the jewelry out and it started bleeding and looks so terrible. Its to painful to put anything in it it the moment. Whats should I do and how long do I wait before I try stretching it again😪😭 i do not wanna take my other one out but now i look like a idiot Any advise ?
Yup, that's happened to me several times over the course of my stretching journey. It happens when you stretch up too quickly. Take the jewelry out and give your ear some time to calm down and heal, then you will have to downsize to one of your previous sizes for a while. You don't want a blowout or infection, both outcomes suck. I recommend dead stretching, which is where you just insert the next mm size up into your ear (do NOT skip mm sizes, and don't go by gauge measurements!), using only single-flare + o-ring (never double-flare) and non-porous material plugs that are easy to clean and sterilize - basically only glass, stone, or medical-grade 316L stainless steel. Always sterilize your jewelry with rubbing alcohol before inserting, and rub your ear holes with plenty of lube such as jojoba or vitamin E oil, or an ear butter, to aid insertion. It should just slide right in with little resistance. If it hurts more than a slight pinch and the pain doesn't go away fairly quickly, then back off and downsize, try again in a few more months. It helps if the plugs have a slight weight to them, because that helps your ears stretch naturally over time - solid plugs work much better than tunnels. Try stretching right after a hot shower and/or after massaging your ears, too. Clean both ears and jewelry once a day (or whenever you shower) with mild soap and water, and lube your ears daily. You can use weighted hanger jewelry on HEALED ears only, to also help with the natural stretching. Give them a minimum of several months between stretches, sometimes longer once you get to the bigger sizes. This is the best method that has taken me a long time full of trial and error to figure out. My ears are 25mm/1 inch now. BTW, it's not unusual to see people with two different sizes in each ear for this reason, so don't worry about it too much. Best of luck!
AYEOOO, so I’m at 00g and I think those bird skulls look really cool, but the product description was kinda confusing. It says “must be at least 13mm” and then “wearable area is is 10mm”. Can I wear them or not?
Can someone help my girlfriend has had this extra little bit of skin that looks like it formed on the outside of the hole iv never seen it before in my life and I’ve been doing this my whole life
That could be either a small keloid, or it's just simply scarring from a blowout due to stretching up too quickly. If it's not healed (hopefully), I'd recommend she downsize for a long time and give it lots of vitamin E or jojobo oil massages, then stretch up a lot slower from now on. If it is already healed completely, then I think she might have to get a professional piercer to look at it and see if it's worth cutting it off, if it bothers her that much. Hopefully it is not a keloid, as those have a reputation for growing bigger and growing back even after being cut off. Not to scare you, but that can happen. Good luck.
Not a pro, but saddle plugs are kinda tricky. Definitely wanna lube your ear with something and make sure your ears are healed and it’s best if they’re a little bigger than your size.because you’re gonna have to pop the bigger outer part through. You wanna put the saddle part on the bottom of your ear at sort of an angle and pull just a little bit and push it through. It shouldn’t be too hard. And I’m pretty sure generally saddle plugs have the flare a gauge bigger than the middle part. Hope this helps a little
Seeing people actually put them in and wear them is nice, really helps with what I might want to buy next actually seeing it on someone
Happy to help!
You guys seem super cool. I'd love to see some saddles. I'm in a size 38mm, or 1'1/2

Heck yeah! Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully my travels take me that way soon. Cheers!
I have the T rex hangers and love them! Can be tricky to get in because of the teeth but so fun to wear and very comfortable. I can even sleep in them
Those ones are sold out now and I really want them!!
@@HowGoesIt I've also seen them off of Amazon if they don't have them in stock but I'm not sure of the quality from Amazon.

Do the hangers flatten or thin out the lower part of your lob where the hang?
I'm 32mm and was curious about the curled hanger earrings. Would I be able to wear a tunnel and still be able to put curled hangers on the tunnels?

But are they stainless steel?

Anything big enough for 3 inch plugs? I've been wanting weights but cant find any for my size want them heavy enough so my ears dont shrink up
Do you sell any plugs for 2&1/2 and bigger?
not much. Most things end somewhere between 1 and 2 inches. We will be expanding some products over 2 inches in 2021.
I LOVE YOU GUYS

Please cover saddles, with a similar fit guide!
