It's been five years since I've came back from this video, I realized how young I was when I watched this and oml I remember all of the things that happened in this video since this is one of my favourites. You guys really completed my childhood, and I'm glad it is.

I think the grandpa sets this stuff up for his grandkids in his free time. That is so freaking sweet of him. I wish I had a family like this growing up
I just watched this with my 5 year old and I have to say it was AWESOME. Everything about this content was great. My son is all about finding treasure now. I showed him my metal detector last year and he had no interest in it at all. He made me pull it out again and teach him how to use it. We will be looking for our own treasure in the spring. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the memories that we will be creating next year. You are all amazing parents and grandparents.

I just found this by accident and have fallen in love with your family!!! As a retired preschool teacher i have to tell you how your adventures have lifted my spirit. What an incredible teaching " opportunity " your treasure hunts are😊. If more parents took the time to create fun but meaningful way to teach their children by spending time with them. Not just being in the same room with them, but by playing interesting games with their children and learning who they are as small people, well, maybe we would have less school shootings. Maybe the teen drug rate would drop, and maybe less teen pregnancy or suicide rates would drop???!!! Even as teenagers your kids want to play with you, have adventures and learning about who YOU are and who THEY themselves are.

How long did it take you to set all this up? How much did it cost? And where did you come up with all the clues? And where did you find all the props? Amazing! You should write treasure stories!
I'm pretty sure it would have costed a couple thousands, the treasures in the chest are replicas of actual artifacts like the lock on the chest is a snake lock that is a replica of an artifact from china that was mass produced, the crown you can probably just find online i looked, i couldn't find much but i did find a picture of it, its not historical or anything, the guns are Victorian and pretty old you could probably buy the 2 for around 1k because i dont think they work but i did find pictures online.
If it was 2017 when they started the treasure hunt, and the house was built in 1897, this makes all of these clues and antiques 120 years old. I’m a history freak myself, and this is amazing.

How long did it take you to set all this up? How much did it cost? And where did you come up with all the clues? And where did you find all the props? Amazing! You should write treasure stories!
I'm pretty sure it would have costed a couple thousands, the treasures in the chest are replicas of actual artifacts like the lock on the chest is a snake lock that is a replica of an artifact from china that was mass produced, the crown you can probably just find online i looked, i couldn't find much but i did find a picture of it, its not historical or anything, the guns are Victorian and pretty old you could probably buy the 2 for around 1k because i dont think they work but i did find pictures online.
