Wow. Many people never take the time to experience even one sunrise - let alone travel the world, scout a picturesque area, schlep to that point and setup a time lapse. Amazing! Inspiring! Thanks!
hmmmm I think there's a new kid in Time-Lapse Town, and his name is Sean White! Amazing color, fabulous editing, and something new and different! Love the original score made for the film as well. Looks like you just raised the bar! Thank you, Sean! ~kimberly
Sean, this is breathtaking! A real tour de force in the timelapse landscape & I truly appreciate what you went through to make this. Congratulations!!! Penguins. and the shot at 3:13 took my breath away...
just breath-taking!!!! the time it took to take all these amazing videos and all that was spent here, you truly are an inspiring and awesome person! i am inspired to travel more and know more of what the world has to offer.. thank you! and also, thank you for adding the Chocolate Hills of Bohol in this video.. I came from that very small island.. i hope you had fun there and when you come back again, just ping me and i'd be glad to show you around there again! :))) good job on this!
This is a very beautiful and moving work of art, no doubt. As a fellow British Columbian, I am deeply disappointed that you did not include the beauty of your home Province, or even Country :(
There's a burst from the Chocolate Hills of Bohol in the finale montage at 05:20 - a very quick but blends with the shapes of the pyramid and mountain. Hope to return to shoot more soon!
Sorry about that... The truth is I'm usually so exhausted from taking images when I finally return home from overseas trips that I prefer to leave the camera in the bag and simply enjoy life at home. That said, I'm working on a new project now that will focus more on what's here in our backyard... Stay tuned. Cheers!
Was going to say "the nice thing bout time lapse is once the robot is setup you get to sit back relax and press start" but then I read the above... Yikes!
Art Wolfe sent me here, but I stayed because of some the best time-lapses I have ever seen!

...our beautiful planet...^"^~*~^"^
Nice job, despite your handicap... Canon!
Ahhh yes, 3:13 - the Djenne Mosque in Mali, Africa. The world's largest adobe structure. I guarded the camera all night -- was cold! Cheers!
Forgot to say, the bird at 4:29... birds usually ruin timelapses - but not this time - nice touch :)
Mahalo! that was beautiful! mjack19
