Leonardo Vásquez Chacón, violist
Boston Symphony Orchestra Fellow
Leonardo is one of two Boston Symphony Orchestra Fellows, and he will talk about growing up as a musician in Peru, how he became interested in classical music, and about his formative two years in Boston. He will also play the Prelude from the Cello Suite No. 2 in D minor (transcribed for viola) by Johann Sebastian Bach.
The Boston Symphony Orchestra has started a new fellowship program where talented young professionals from underrepresented backgrounds in classical music have the opportunity to play with the BSO for 2 seasons.
