I met jim in 2001 and he is the most honest and nicest person I've ever met.

Thank you, Taylor, for supporting this under-represented icon.

Good lord he even sounds like Sparta by himself on an acoustic. ATDI and Sparta are two of the best bands EVER. They molded me dude. This man is amazing.
“Acrobatic Tenement” and “Wiretap Scars” are life changing albums

I interviewed Jim Ward for a local tv station in El Paso a few years ago at a charity event. He was the nicest and most accommodating person. Truly a gentleman.

I worked for his restaurant. This is true.

Truly a great, sincere and honest artist. This guy has done (and still is doing) really good things.
He's always keeping on making great music and he's doing it freely.
    A great example for musicians.

Taylor Guitars have done it again.
I was unfamiliar with the music of Jim Ward. I will seek out Ward's music now and listen often and closely.
Good and thoughtful lyrics. I am also very appreciative how engaging Ward's short interviews were.
I am glad have subscribed to the Taylor Guitars' TH-cam page. I eagerly await the next SoundCheck.
    Be well my friends.

I’m a year late finding this video, but have loved Jim Ward for over 20 years. I hope you did explore his catalog and had a good time.

I would strongly recommend the album “wiretap scars” from his band Sparta, and the album “Acrobatic Tenement” from At the Drive In

ATDI was the sound of the future thanks to his songwriting contributions. Wish things turned out differently :/

Interesting perspectives and good songs. Taylor should, as a friendly suggestion, list which guitar (s) the artists are playing. I assume this is a GP 517? I see a lot of folks gravitating to the GPs . The traditional chamber shapes seem to be timeless.
