It has been a great series so far! I just picked up 2 67's about a week ago. I am leaning heavily on your series as a tool to help me restore them, and an oem service manual. I wish carb covers were easier to find though!
enjoying your videos, I am doing a quick tidy up on a 66 Bearcat too , I really look forward to getting it on the road. Interested in your fork seal replacement and also would love to get a copy of the wiring diagram from your manual ???? cheers, Richard Harcourt
@@frao4160 Hi, Bryan from Australia here I'm restoring a b100p and was also going to ask for a copy of the wiring diagram. Would you mind if I emailed you as well? Thanks
@@onamission1848 Hi Bryan. I'm gonna set up an e-mail account to use for this type of thing. No problem scanning the wiring schematic for you. Thanks for watching!
@@frao4160 thank you, I appreciate it. One more thing, if it's not too much to ask. My brother in law is restoring a b105p, same as yours. But his carburettor is missing. From what we can gather it is meant to be the mikuni vm20hs. I saw in one of your videos that you got some parts for it. I was wondering if you know whether that carburettor is available for purchase in the USA (none in Australia, not even spares) and if so could you give us the name of a store that we can contact to purchase one. Thanks again
I'm restoring the exact same bike and hooked all my wires up the same as you did and by the manual and I still don't have spark have you checked to see if you have spark yet??? Thanks for the great videos !
Okay I hooked up a good 6 volt battery to mine and still doesn't have spark wasn't sure if it had to have a battery to have spark or not??? Thanks Again 👍🏻
Jealous of your garage FRAO. I hate wiring loom jobs, although I'm a competent solderer (sodderer?) . Did you use the old stator/flywheel or did you order a modern stator with a CDI ? Apologies if you already covered that in a previous video. I have some catching up to do ! 'Drilled 'em with a rock' - love it. You have a turntable ? Me too. In fact I only have a Turntable and a CD player. I need my music and I can't rely on the vagaries of internet connection to listen so I own all my music on physical media. And my vinyl rig isn't too shabby so I get the sound quality too. Only pain in the arse is keeping the records clean but I have a system for that (I did a video). If you can fix a bike you can fix a turntable ! Waiting in anticipation of the start-up !
Waiting For The Next Episode 12
I Am Going To Restore My Grandpa Suzuki B100 1965

Good progress Norm!
What happened? Left hanging on Ep#11. We want to see that thing ride. . . . .
