What a lot of people don't know is that this song was written after the disastrous sinking of the Sewol Ferry in South Korea on April 16, 2014 where 309 lives were lost, 250 of which were high school students. It's a song written in the face of tragedy but it was a beautiful tribute and a beautiful song ♥️

FUCK THIS IS ABOUT THE SEWOL FERRY TRAGEDY?? I'm not really a boy group fan but this is one of my FAVORITE bg songs specifically because it's so beautifully sad, but this makes even more tragic

I came here to share this. I can only listen to this song at particular times. I'm a mum and I cannot imagine how it felt to send your kid off on a field trip only for them to not come back. So this song hits hard with me. The vocals are also hard hitting. It's a beautiful song.

I know this has been said before but i just love how you're complimenting j-hope (gentleman in the orange suit with the red sparkly mic) left and right because his position is actually lead rapper and only sub-vocalist. The reason you can see him vibing everywhere every time is because he's main dancer. The only downfall is that if you want to listen him sing in this song (Spring day) you have to listen to live version since he has no lines in studio version. Also when you said that red mic (j-hope) and purple mic (Jungkook, main vocalist) really compliment each other you should listen to bts song "Wings" live version you'd love it.
RM and SUGA - members of BTS who participated as songwriters and composers in this song - said they wrote Spring day, based on their experience with old friends. SUGA specifically wrote about the friend who went to prison (he is talking about the same person in his song Agust D - Dear my friend). But "Spring day" MV also relate to national tragedy. I really recommend you to read the lyrics and watch MV with explanation

The boy with orange suit and the red glitter mic is J-hope he’s an insanely talented dancer, he actually does many of BTS choreographys and help the other members to learn them and he literally cannot stop moving.
I don’t know if he does all the choreography but he does participate in helping their choreographer with their dances and he’s there too to help the members if they need extra help and their choreographer isn’t there to do it….

The red mic is J-Hope and he's actually a street dancer and one of the rapper of the group. He learned to rap when he joined BTS but he definitely can sing too 😌
BTS has 5 vocalists (JK, Jimin, Jin, V & J-Hope), 5 Rappers (RM, J-Hope, Suga, JK & V) and 5 Amazing Dancers (J-Hope, Jimin, JK, V & Suga) they fill up each other’s flaws and they complete each other as a 7 member team. And that’s BTS aka “World’s Most Popular Boy Band at the moment”

My first encounter (and really listening) to BTS was only about a year ago when I watched them in tiny desk concert and my reaction was exactly the same as yours. I strongly recommend "Crystal Snow" and "Mikrokosmos" and "Pied Piper" as well as the vocalists song "The Truth Untold". And if you them I also strongly recommend the group NCT's song "From Home" rearranged version live at MAMA 2020 (it is sung in 4 different languages, and one member holds such a long note, it gives me chills).

Fun fact: J-Hope (the dancing guy ahah) is a rapper and not a singer. For being a rapper, his voice (and vibrato, which you can hear clearly in their performance of the song Otsukare) is really good!
Personally, I would really love to see you react to their MVT Unplugged performances and their Japanese songs Your Eyes Tell and Film Out!
He actually became a sub-vocalist not too long ago, and apparently he got demoted to sub-rapper at some point, which makes zero sense. He's still a main dancer and the dance captain though as far as I know.
@@carlycchapman I don't know where you read it but it's not true. Since the beginning he was a lead rapper! And non officially a sub-vocalist. It's just his rapping style, he mixes singing with rapping a lot!
This is how 3 rappers and 4 singers (3 tenors and a bass...I think) work together. 7 guys from South Korea and that just love what they do. Love of their fans let them do this. I think you should - if it's not blocked for you to react to; their live performance of "Permission to Dance" at the UN. They KILL IT - if that's blocked watch it from the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. You'll love it Hannah, I'm sure!

im so glad she reacted to this song. this song honestly has so much meaning to army’s and it’s probably one out of the few that make many army’s cry. so i believe a lot of army’s who may be watching this, including myself, are feeling happy that you’ve reacted to this. i also feel like she could react to a compilation of their highest and lowest vocals, or like their best singing moments (idk the right words)

The emotion in their voice is so evident and as u said, they are damn talented and they are vocal atheletes. I can’t even describe how much talent they have in my eyes, and not only that, they have AMAZING personalities and all of them look sooo good! I suggest listening to a live performance of 'ON' as that song is amazing, and the bridge has shocked many people.
Another suggestion could be 'Carpool Karaoke w/James Corden' as it has (from my perspective) made a lot of people interested in BTS!
And jin only starts singing and dancing when he was picked up on bighit. So he had no brackground in singing and dancing.
Jimin also had no background in singing tho, just fyi cuz a lot of ppl don't know that

I've always been extremely impressed with Jin for his sheer determination and intense work ethic. It must have felt utterly terrifying and overwhelming to come into BTS with no singing OR dancing experience, relying initially on his position as "the visual" to ease him into a whole new musical universe. He wasn't even allowed to be himself on camera at first, hiding his goofy charm behind a veneer of looking cool. He is an incredibly strong and admirable person. They all are very special and wonderful, of course, but I always hold that particular respect and admiration for Jin. I love seeing his growth as a dancer, and his voice now actually rivals his physical beauty!

Thank you for reacting to BTS’s tiny desk performance and breaking it down so nicely! I recommend watching more of them, cause they have so many songs with great vocals! Stigma, Lie, Euphoria, and Epiphany are some great ones from the vocal line. Also, I think the red mic gentleman (J-Hope) sings a little in his song MAMA :) If you wanna react to more Kpop vocals, I also recommend Day6! I think the live version of “Deep in Love” is one of my favorites.
