I really appreciate your repeated, detailed videos on the Modwave. I own this incredible little synth for 1.5 years now and think it's massively underrated. It just doesn't get the recognition it deserves. If KORG had put it in a solid metal case with aluminum knobs, a fine Fatar keybed, and a bigger display, it would long have been a modern legend. And of course much more expensive... Instead, it will always retain the status of a cheap entry-level synth. Which, in essence, it is not, not at all. It's a monster!

This is wonderful, thanks so much. I love my modwave and have been recently trying to create more analog sounds, so your tutorial was a great help in my understanding of the parameters to tweak/modulate to achieve this.

@@IanDixonTDL I think you will really love the changes coming to the OS of the mk1 after beta testing. I am not a beta tester, but my new mk2 is sweet!

I plan to produce some more patches taking advantage of some of the new features

One sound you haven't attempted yet is the Polymoog Vox Humana. I used the instructions on a different TH-cam video (th-cam.com/video/W1mi1L1AuSI/w-d-xo.html) which are demonstrated on a Kurzweil synth but I couldn't even get close on my Modwave. It needs a square osc, a saw osc, pwm and separate pitch modulations but the basic oscillators don't seem warm enough in sound. I got much better results on the Surge VST plugin but I'd be interested to know if anyone has attempted this tricky patch on the Modwave.

Just had a quick go and got, and I think I got close. When you put the phaser on, its sounds pretty close. I will work on it and then if i get close i will do a video and upload the patch
