    I think Shai's path to further improvement is just getting better from floater range, and to keep working on those passing instincts. As long as he's surrounded by guys who shoot threes, he won't really need to develop that part of his game, though it would be nice for that percentage to go up if he's taking that few

    I have zero questions about Shai going into the future, he has been a secondary option on teams all the way back to his Kentucky days. He has adapted to every role he’s been given throughout his career. His lower 3 pt percentage is a result of him being the only true ball handler on his team. He can mesh with almost any potential star the thunder may trade their load of assets for.

    If the Thunder get Grady Dick, WATCH OUT. SGA and Giddey driving to Chet, Isaiah Joe or Grady Dick will make this team TERRIFYING for opposing defenses. Shai is awesome and he’s such a fascinating player to watch.

    Shai is under-rated because is not considered flashy as a Ja Morant or Lamelo. He just go out there plays basketball

    Don’t think Shai really needs to work on his 3pt shot. He’s a good 3pt shooter. It just was way down last year because of the difficulty

    What makes someone a point guard?
    Is it about: Height, Usage, Assists,
    Defensive assignment, Offensive playcalling? Theoretically, Doncic and Jokic are guards, and Giddey is more of the point guard than Shai

    Shai is the best 2 guard in the league. Don’t get it wrong. He could’ve been the point guard, but we have Giddey, and Shai perfectly runs the role of a 2 guard. Constantly in attack mode, and is also just a great passer. But make mistake, he is our 2 guard.

    You say it like he doesnt have a three pointer. His percentage is average, so its not like you can give him the Simmons treatment.

    The Thunder's roster is pretty stacked and, except for their one glaring weakness, are well balanced. They're actually under-achieving right now. Yeah, they don't have a Center, but neither does most teams in the league right now.

    • @robertbloom4424
      @robertbloom4424 ปีที่แล้ว

      On paper, they should be better than the Mavs or Clippers. Maybe they need a coaching change?

  • @Davivd2

    Just imagine if the Clippers passed on that Paul George trade. They have Shea, who would be the PG they have needed for years, and all of those draft picks that they shipped to OKC.

    I'm glad he improved his shooting form throughout the years unlike Lonzo who took him to get traded for him to change his form. SGA's shooting form before when he was teamed up with CP3 and Schroeder was like Kyle Anderson shooting form but a lil faster but now you have to respect his jump shot.
