If you see a '?' mark on the digital signature in your downloaded Aadhaar pdf file, you will have to validate it. Watch this 'How to' video for help.

Thanks for the video, bit of additional info for those not able to do it.
1. Open your password protected eAadhaar ( I opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader)
2. Choose the menu, Sign -> Fill & Sign
3. Now, Right click on the Question mark in your eAadhaar works as it is enable for digital signature.
Further follow the instructions as per the video.

When we once validate our Aadhar signature then it is always validate for whenever we can download the Aadhar card online in any app on any PC
Sir, I enrolled for an Aadhaar card in 2011 when I was 10 years old. Now in 2024, when I check the Aadhaar validity on the UIDAI website, it is asking me to undergo a mandatory biometric update. Since it has been more than 10 years and my biometrics have completely changed, if I go for the mandatory biometric update at an Aadhaar center, will there be any problems, or will my biometrics be captured as new?

Why it is important to validate signature. Can't we use it without validation. What is the use of it as
eAadhaar is downloaded as a digitally signed PDF file. You may see a ? mark sign on the digital signature when you open this file. This occurs when the digital certificate and digital signature associated with the PDF file have not yet been verified on the system. You can easily verify this signature. Download and open the eAadhaar on any PC/ laptop and then follow the steps mentioned in the video: th-cam.com/video/qKltutvyUnU/w-d-xo.html to validate the digital signature on your downloaded Aadhaar. Remember this feature is available only in the desktop version of Adobe or other PDF readers. This feature is not available in the mobile version.
@@AadhaarUIDAI Having a verified signature signed by DS UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION AUTHORITY OF INDIA means that the PDF is downloaded from Aadhaar website and is not edited after being downloaded. Why is the UIDAI's certificate is not trusted by default? Is there any way to download UIDAI's Security Certificates (.cer files of both root and child) directly from UIDAI's website, after logging in?

Is e aadhar not valid without digital signature for passport. Is normal printout of e aadhar valid.
e-Aadhaar is a digitally signed legally valid document and is as valid as the Aadhaar Letter.

How to unprotect the pdf, I need the pdf along with the signature on without any password.

Open pdf and just press print. It will open print pop-up. Now you need to save as a pdf instead of print. This new file will work without password.

Dear Resident, your DoB can only be updated once. In case it needs to be updated more than the prescribed limit, then it can be done through the exception handling process. For that, you'll have to visit Aadhaar Kendra with the following documents:
i.) A DOB certificate issued by the authority under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969.
ii.) A self-declaration stating that he /she is requesting an update of DOB, after availing DoB update service once.
For more details, kindly read the SOP here uidai.gov.in/images/SOP_for_DOB_update.pdf

After updating my adhaar will I get a physical adhaar?
Aadhaar letter with updates will be delivered at the given address only in case of Update/Correction in Name, Address, Date of Birth, Photo and Gender.
For Update of Mobile number/Email ID, a notification will be sent on the given mobile number/email ID.

i got errors like.
