You cant see it in this footage but there was a kid, maybe 11, wearing the mask, crowdsurfing on top of his dad and flipping the crowd off during this set and it was easily one of the most metal moments ive witnessed.
Was such a sick show. I was the one waving the flag in the dust bowl pit. Made it for the show and ended up meeting Alex at the sound booth before Hatebreed later that day. It was the best day ever. Gifted him the flag🤘
Hatebreed was insane. They played lots of old shit including Perseverance and I Will Be Heard. Was just moshing in the back with my flagless flag pole during it haha.
when you see bands preform at festivals and the sides of the stage are packed with members from other bands its really special. knowing that they love sluaghter as much as we do.
A good amount was smaller local bands. Alex was super nice to everyone. You can even find a short of him having a scream off against one of the local band dudes from "dead reckoning"
I’m American and this is by far my favorite band for the past year when I found out about Slaughter. Whatever is going on in current world events, music cures all and has no borders. Keep on slaying Alex and the rest of Slaughter!
Dude it’s so wild to see how far STP has come. I remember seeing old videos of them preforming in a ball room and Alex doing vocals in his room, now there in front of a sea of people! Still the same amazing skills from everyone, hands down one of the best bands at Blue Ridge!!

I am completely and utterly in love with this band, the music, the aesthetic, what they stand for , their work ethic and Alex's phenomenal voice. It's so refreshing to feel such passion for a band again, as I don't tend to love 'new' findings in terms of artists like I used to in my teens, more a case of I like one song, or one album so this is so so refreshing.

But it's okey - they don't have anybody who do backs, also it's better to have breaks in songs if you don't want to murder your own throat... you still had a tons of job, also you must be "absolutely perfect" to the back tracks... and they don't have ear monitors - even harder.
