- Who said Controller's can't play aggressive?
Astra is the agent I main on Valorant. Although my Astra plays may look smooth and random, a lot of my plays can be very aggressive for a smoke player. My goal is to become Radiant as ASTRA ONLY & SOLOQ ONLY and I will for sure climb the ranks to get it! If you want to learn the utility usage and how to play Astra, I leave tips in my videos as often as I can. I start playing astra when I playing Valorant for the first time because her abilities, mechanic and avatar is cool asf. Then I played for 50+hours, and it got nerfed from 5 star to 4 star, the delay of abilities too. But I dont give up on using her, and day by day I started missing, Lost alot of creativity how I played her. Good thing I can see your videos and learning back how to play astra again! I start maining astra from now on, is 97hours right now and I will use her from gold 3 to immortal as my dream. Thank you for giving me ideas of how to use it

i love this, as an astra main i always like to develop my play style to grow and get out of gold, i realised its always best to work with initiators like cypher or kj like u did at 2:19 with kjs alarmbot and nades , imma take all this and adapt it in my play style thanks for the vide

Does using Astra make people feel more active? I find players in my games who played Astra often very funny and aggressive for some reason (in a good way)
Put it this way:
On defense get active with your stuns and succs. Play in your smokes to catch an enemy off guard. Swing out your smoke to catch an enemy off guard.
On attack, once you smoke and stun/succ for your duelist, play support by holding for run outs or clearing the site with your team.
I try to play Astra so much after the tips of playing Brimstone but, she’s so awkward on console lol

You actually inspired me to start using Astra's smokes to push up and act as cover. My aim is still rough, but I get a lot more kills when ducking in and out of smokes. I actually got my first ace faking a smoke and repositioning

YES. I have lost so many rounds with that bug it’s really frustrating

For new Astra players, firstly you need know your default smoke placements. If you do then I would get a feel for her in unrated and in swift. Get used to her utility and get used to her cooldown timers (they are LONG ASF)
Once you feel comfortable with her kit then you can hop onto comp

I think there's some bug going on lately with the wall, I usually does instant wall like you, but it made me stuck in astral form for a few second. Really need to clip this later and report it to Riot bcs it really ruins the tempo of the play sometimes. 😔😔

Astra looks so fun to play but seems to have crazy skill floor and ceiling (i m a new player and on console) i played her once on sunset and got zero value because i didnt understand her abilities and the enemies were very good

Been practicing my Astra in customs by putting stars down and activating them repeatedly so I get used to the feeling, going in & out of Astral mode and doing ults and it’s starting to become more natural. Console players btw so it’s still kinda awkward lol
Yea idk what it feels like on console but always remember practice makes perfect!

Practice at least 10mins a day on Aimlabs and play 3-5 DMs a day to keep your aim consistent
