rgb strips are unlikely to cause enough heat to start a fire and if it does you got scammed. the only risks are overloading the circuits or damaged wires if you install them incorrectly.
You shouldn’t use cotton as clouds because it can catch on fire, it is better to use Polyester fill since it doesn’t burn. Also, make sure your LEDs don’t produce any heat to reduce chances of fire
Spider's living in clouds is a myth. Search around the internet and find a single case where someone's clouds got infested with spiders. You wont find one because its never happened.
