A mix of longing, nostalgia, a feeling of accomplishment, yearning for something that I don’t know of, and the passion and drive to be somebody. But it poignantly reminds me of struggle. And it’s strange because I didn’t grow up poor or necessarily go through struggle, (at least in the straight cut way of what struggle is) but I feel as if I have. Why? Because I got lucky. I made it. And man, can I still feel it in the air.

I couldn’t really form how this song makes me feel. A mix of longing, nostalgia, a feeling of accomplishment, yearning for something that I don’t know of, and the passion and drive to be somebody.
But it poignantly reminds me of struggle. And it’s strange because I didn’t grow up poor or necessarily go through struggle, (at least in the straight cut way of what struggle is) but I feel as if I have. Why? Because I got lucky. I made it. And man, can I still feel it in the air.
