Thanks for taking the time to restore and post this piece of MN history. I bought a house in 1983 in South Mpls and my FHA 30 year mortgage was at 12.75% interest. It was rough times for everyone back then. Before commenting on the DFL tax and spend mantra remember: This is four years after the November 1978 Minnesota Massacre which handed power to the IR and crippled the DFL. Just saying . . .
