We dont have them in Germany! My girlfriend (who is Irish) misses them a lot. We've ordered them off of an online store that sells English (and Irish) food, but they came frozen, which is... kind of inconvenient, considering they dont actually *ship* them with freezing bags/in freezers. The crumpets just... defrost during shipping and you have to eat the entire pack in one go. They were lovely, we just wish we could get them another way :( Very relaxing video as usual. I always enjoy your whispering. You have such a soothing tone of voice! Also: "my face is a mess, my hands are a mess, but this makes me happy" was so sweet! Made me smile :)
I went to a shop in Seattle, WA called The Crumpet Shop, very near Pike Place Market. Had a fresh crumpet (made there on site) with raspberry jam and a cup of tea. It was out of this world delicious.❤
Nooooo. Not a thing like English muffins. Different texture, different taste, different result of buttering them. Crumpets after toasting, and they must be toasted, are a bit crispy on the outside but scrumptiously soft in the middle. You put butter on the hot crumpets, put a lot of butter and it soaks through to the other side. Put strawberry jam on it and that goes through it too. Bite it and if you have done it right you have butter dripping off your chin. It is most delicious. There is a recipe I have seen online that I'll try to make the actual crumpets because you can't buy them in stores much any more and in the country I live in, crumpets don't even exist.
We have these here in the States but they’re called English muffins. People put butter, jam, maple syrup and sometimes peanut butter on them. I love them with butter and cinnamon 😊 Thank you for the relaxing video.

Nutella is a game changer but strawberry Jam also works really well on crumpets

Wooh the New Zealand shout out! :P
Here in Australia I've always had crumpets with butter and golden syrup, I'll have to try Nutella sometime!
Haven't had a crumpet in years! Forgot how good they are.
in the us (at least where i’m from) we call biscoff spread “cookie butter” it’s super yummy!
I’ve already watched this twice and it’s only been up for 5 hours 😂
I love crumpets! I used to be able to purchase crumpets where I live in the U.S., but they no longer carry them. 😢
Crumpets are easily available in Canada
You should try a video with la lechera on bread Mexican treat look into it 💪🏾💪🏾
Ah I love your style sir 🏆 howdy from Texas 🤠
Was the “coming home late at night” comment a subtle reference to the unintentional asmr of the Irish dude that makes the sandwich
Where is the video where you were going to try the food from the last mre ? Have I missed it ?
Very good 😊
hungry for food and relax? the answer is YOU
😊
Something very similar maybe in the US are pikelets. Very similar to crumpets. English Muffins are something totally different.
We have Pikelets too, but they're very thin versions and not as easily available, it's regional xx
Now one of my 2025 goals is to try a crumpet with Nutella 🤤
Looks tasty. I’m wondering if crumpets are similar to what in the US we call English muffins.
