I like how Jordan was somewhat in doubt at the question of who was the narrator of treasure island, even after james googled it and jordan was like "can you tell me if this answer is right or wrong?" and then James said "that would be giving you the answer" which means that it was the one jordan had in mind. Because giving the answer to that would be "yes". If it wasn't the one Jordan was considering, then it wouldn't be giving the answer as the answer to jordan's question would be "no" and there still would be three options.
In my mind it was basically giving away the answer because it obviously wasn't Long John Silver and Blind Pew was a little far fetched, even for a kid's book, so there are two options left.
miss meggy True. I didn't know because I've never read it or even heard of it. But hearing James say "that would be giving the answer away" would be enough for me to go with what jordan had chosen
I honestly really like what they have going here with Hot Seat. It is really entertaining and I like how they added the little "survived" with his picture and who has won and lost. Makes it more intense in my opinion. PLEASE keep doing this!!!
After watching this video, I feel inspired now to drop out of high school and plan to be a famous youtuber. Thanks creatures, you're always there when I need guidance.
***** I also thought it was Seattle. I never learned all the state capitals and I thought that since the world fair was in Seattle before that Seattle was the capital.
DG .Tinderbox Jordan pulled that one out of his ass, Porifera are sponge, starfish are by no means porous, most are hard and have skeletons, starfish are echinoderms.
Kids, please. Just because Jordan didn't graduate doesn't mean that you're going to have the same luck he did with his TH-cam career. Have something to fall back on at least.
I gotta say, the best part about the word hierarchy was that we were learning about this the time that this hot seat came out xD I was just like 'OH! I KNOW THIS ONE!' XD Man, I love the Creature Hub!
People who are saying schools are useless because Jordan did well here need to stay in one. Jordan dropped out of high school. 5th grade is not high school.
As much as I commend Jordan for being successful after dropping out of highschool, I hope he isn't sending the wrong message to kids, while people can be successful out of their own wit, the percentages of people dropping out of high school and ending up successful is incredibly thin, like substantially
Not a good week for Jordan in case of spelling.. To me, he always seems like the smartest guy out of these guys, not sure if that's saying much. Maybe it's just psychological, hes tall, looks good and is considered as the founder of their group.
I don't think any of them are really smarter than any others, besides I've always thought Jordan was the dumbest in everything besides mechanics and stuff like that.
Yeah those famous people are typically ignorant and dumb as shit. The best actors spent time in acting school, alot of singers at least have a high school degree and athletes have to go to college to get a chance to go pro at least for football and badketball.
Im just thinking of jordans character just standing there with his big stupid face just taking all the insults from the classmates as he waits forever to answer the question
Jordan didn't graduate from high school, that actually really surprises me. I figured him out of any of the creatures would have finished. Eh, atleast you got an amazing job like YouTubing, I'd kill for a job like this in the future.
Jordan never finished highschool? He seems like he would've been a great student, and he's a smart guy. Good for him for doing well for himself regardless.
Oh my god this game pulled the "lol Seattle isn't the capital of Washington" trick. What a dick move. I live there so I knew it, but that is like, the ultimate trick question.
I never graduated high school and I never got in college, I'm not not shame of it, I'm tired of being a slave so when finally done with school and had few jobs I finally living my free life doing whatever I want
Despite the various levels of education, I don't believe this game was created to make people feel dumb. Jordan, especially, is an intelligent man who runs a successful business. The game really shows the triviality of the school system or education in the US at large. It seems like a good way to poke fun of people who can't answer "simple" 5th grade and below questions. No, it's a game show. It's a fun premise and challenges the contestant to recount things that don't matter to the average adult. Granted most game shows are like this but Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader has a undertone to be taken. Why can't grown adults remember elementary school? Has the system improved or was it inefficient to their education? Or, has the school system focused on material not germane to adult life? Well. That's for y'all to decide. I've said my peace. Good on you Koots, this is actually your more intelligent light. We get to see how that brain works under the red hat.
I think this show / game demonstrates that if you don't use knowledge, you'll lose it. And "using" it doesn't have to mean that you use something to live your daily life. For some people, knowledge is a goal on its own. For others, they couldn't care less about knowledge that doesn't relate to their lives. I think most people fall somewhere in the middle, where we like learning about certain topics and don't care about others. How many of us TH-cam nerds could name 7 Creatures off the tops of our heads? How many NBA fans can name the finals winners over the last 5 years? How many music lovers can name all Beatles albums? All of that knowledge is useless - you'll never need any of it to live a happy adult life in the USA. But people consume the knowledge because they enjoy it. People like to say that schools should teach more things that will help them in daily life, but there are finitely many hours in a student's public school career. We have to pick and choose what to teach, and there are other places to learn about essential life skills. Students can learn about cooking and calculating taxes and other "life" skills from their parents and other non-teachers. The role of math and science and English teachers is to teach academic skills, because most people don't have the ability to pass that on to kids. That's my two cents. Schools and teachers have a specific role in society and it cannot be everything.
Just goes to show that school is pointless, real knowledge doesn't come from sitting in a desk and writing down notes from a board onto paper. Real knowledge comes from learning about things that actually matter in the world, actually going out into the world and learning about it and whats necessary to live in it.
You still have to learn certain things in the world... Like knowing the definition of certain words without using google... The only tume i think school would be useless is my freshman and sophmore year in highschool
BasedGod Montymont What's wrong with using Google to look up something you don't know? I never understood people who consider someone stupid just because they don't have every single thing memorized. We have inovations like Google and the whole of the Internet, why not make use of it? As Einstein said “Never memorize something that you can look up.” What's the point in forcing yourself to memorize something instead of looking it up, what's the point of memorizing long equations when you could just use a calculator? To make yourself look superior to everyone else? That's the only reason I could think of. Besides, the human mind is faulty. Is it not better to look something up and be absolutely sure, or trust your memory which could very well be wrong?
Jordan is the most awesome idiot ever. He struggles endlessly over how many nouns are in a sentence, but just happens to know what Phylum Porifera is...Don't ever change, Jordan. You're the best. xD
Being British, this is painful... Olympia is the capital of Washington. Fiji is also not in the carribean haha, and how have you not heard of Long John Silver? He's the most famous pirate! Even made up the pirate voice (Robert Newton) you guys in America need QI!

In my mind it was basically giving away the answer because it obviously wasn't Long John Silver and Blind Pew was a little far fetched, even for a kid's book, so there are two options left.
Yeah but even then the answer seemed pretty blatently obvious anyways....None of those names made any sense but the right answer.
miss meggy True. I didn't know because I've never read it or even heard of it. But hearing James say "that would be giving the answer away" would be enough for me to go with what jordan had chosen
I mostly just remembered the protagonist from the Disney movie, never really got around to reading the book in its classical glory.
***** Same for me, Treasure planet is my all time favorite Disney movie :)
Couple days of college dam we got a badass over here.
Yup
Hello mister 2 million subs
"Fiji is down in the... what's it called.. Caribbean" AHAHAJAHHAH
"That's the catch. You can't just get up and leave school"
Jordan... you literally just said you didn't graduate high school.
This was one of the most intense episodes yet.
Pretty shocked that Koots never graduated! :O
It. Explains. ALOT.
*A LOT
xXX_TH3_4LM1GH7Y _L04F_XXx A lot*
What was the industrial revolution....😂 really nigga? Really. Cmon man......
LEAVE YOU MONSTER BABU! I BANISH YOU TO THE UNDERWORLD
I know someone's said it already, but James' laugh is the cure for cancer.
I honestly really like what they have going here with Hot Seat. It is really entertaining and I like how they added the little "survived" with his picture and who has won and lost. Makes it more intense in my opinion. PLEASE keep doing this!!!
God damn, it sounds like James is wheezing to death when he laughs really hard.
This is one of the funniest Creature videos i've seen in a very long time!
Starfish are echinoderms....Sponges are porifera. JORDAN
I love how James asks "You know what a noun is right?" had me in tears.
After watching this video, I feel inspired now to drop out of high school and plan to be a famous youtuber. Thanks creatures, you're always there when I need guidance.
Please do more GAMESHOWS! This was absolutely incredible XD I'd love to see some Jeopardy and Family Feud!
How do you spell...hierarchy?
Hierarchy
Higherarchy
moms spaghetti, did I get it right?
Weefle Kigglegunt Not like that
OfficialiNOSCOURGEMUSIC ow, i cri evry tiem.
Back to back 30+ minute videos on the Hub? Hell yes. Love the content guys, keep it up! :D
Jordan never graduated... explains the excessive amounts of meows excreted per day.
As someone from Washington its astonishing how many people believe Seattle is our state capital
I think a lot of people from different states are. I'm from California, and I've met people that think LA or SF is our capital.
As someone from Montana is crazy how many people don't know Montana is a state.
Live across Seattle and it makes me sad
***** I also thought it was Seattle. I never learned all the state capitals and I thought that since the world fair was in Seattle before that Seattle was the capital.
Cornelius Hunter That's just sad lol I can tell you where it is on a map it's one of the easiest to find.
Watching Jordan play this and having to actually THINK on a first grade question makes me feel better.
Aye!! This was one the games I requested u guys to play. Thank you, even if this was recorded b4 I mentioned it
Wow koots you picked the black kid last
*****
Nice save.
***** OK, it all makes sense now :)
Racist Koots... Didn't even cheat off him because he's black...
He picked the asian kid first too
Pick the Asian first, then the whites, and finally have no choice but to pick the black. Stereotypes were written all over this video.
"Stay in school, stay in school!" Jordan's face XD
This made me stress the whole video. Really Jordan, these were really easy.
Tumbleh Post
I really don't understand how Jordan would assume a skillet is a place you cook in...
I dunno; the starfish one and the capital one kicked my ass
It's called Creature entertainment. Act stupid, get 7.7 million a day.
DG .Tinderbox Jordan pulled that one out of his ass, Porifera are sponge, starfish are by no means porous, most are hard and have skeletons, starfish are echinoderms.
icemanKOL 7.7 million dollars or views? Even pewdiepie hasn't gained 7.7 million dollars. He didn't even reach 2 million dollars.
"What even is the industrial revolution?" " just the mills and shit" 10/10
That contestant must be a .... muuuuuuuuutaaannnnttt we will call him....
Under/Overbite.
I think this joke is long dead.
CaptainFracture People must be committing some necrophilic acts because it keeps coming back for more fucking.
Kootra: knows about starfish but not about places you can cook. My hero
You guys are freaking awesome
The best trio !
The Kitchen question. Was Jordan serious because.... Gah damn. Lmao.
"I've ate at Long John Silvers before" - James 2015
It's funny that Aleks from Russian knows more about Americas states than Jordan xD
He actually said in a video of his that he loved America and everything it stands for, so it makes sense.
makes "since" Nice spelling bro.
Well excuse me princess!
:D
o Forvertex Matthew used the right one. In that text he needed to use 'sense', not 'since'.
They need to play Fibbage that game would be perfect since they have so many people at the office nowadays
at 2:50 I had to pause for a good 30 seconds because I was laughing so hard xD
13:10 suspicious jumpcut ;)
Jordan never graduated high school yet he has a "company" and works doing what he loves. Good fucking job Koots, I truly admire you.
That first question isn't even right, there are 4 nouns in that sentence. "Valentine's day" is an adjective in this context.
+PugChump NNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Adriana Vazquez ikr cause 1st grade grammar is sooo hard
I noticed that and I was confused
listen to Jeff Foxworthy's voice, does he sound like a man of proper English?
every now and then they should ask jordan to spell hierarchy.
Thank god for twitter. Got here before it updated my Sub Box.
'This is math, this isn't measurements'- Jordan Mathewson 2015
He literally didn't use a single kids strength...
You guys should do "HOT SEAT | IMPOSSIBLE QUIZ"
As much as I commend Jordan for being successful after dropping out of highschool, I hope he isn't sending the wrong message to kids, while people can be successful out of their own wit, the percentages of people dropping out of high school and ending up successful is incredibly thin, like substantially
I found it really funny how James used the term "that's fucked up that you didn't USE that kid"
lol
Not a good week for Jordan in case of spelling.. To me, he always seems like the smartest guy out of these guys, not sure if that's saying much. Maybe it's just psychological, hes tall, looks good and is considered as the founder of their group.
He may have dropped out, but that has no bearing on his intelligence.
he got it right, ok.
that's what counts
I don't think any of them are really smarter than any others, besides I've always thought Jordan was the dumbest in everything besides mechanics and stuff like that.
Steven might be the smartest, in my opinion.
I've always thought Seamus seemed the most intelligent because his sense of humour is clever and makes reference to more academic knowledge.
That was the best hot seat yet. Keep up the good work guys!
Would've been awkward if any of the kids' names were Monica, Max, or Eddie
This was an awesome episode. I like seeing them play games like this. More would be wonderful!
Great vid :D thanks for making everyone laugh!
You can't possibly know that the video was good. This came out like 5 minutes ago.
It will probably be awesome anyway though
***** Because he hadn't even watched the video to know it was good, but The Creatures videos are generally always make good videos.
I didn't laugh, stop lie in the comments.
Glad that Jordan has succeeded with TH-cam, because I never would have guessed that he didn't finish high school.
Also, there are many famous people who are financially and intellectually successful but didn't finish high school
Compared to the millions of people who dropped out of Highschool, the chances of actually becoming successful, I'm assuming, is pretty goddamn slim.
What sucks is that a lot of people with degrees don't usually take jobs that require them :/ sometimes
Yeah those famous people are typically ignorant and dumb as shit. The best actors spent time in acting school, alot of singers at least have a high school degree and athletes have to go to college to get a chance to go pro at least for football and badketball.
Albert Einstein never dropped out of highschool. HE DROPPED OUT OF COLLEGE
Nicki graduated highschool in honor rolls...
This is the best thing I've seen in a while.
Was going to sleep for school. *sees a 30 minute creatures video*
Rip Sleep
Literally everything seems funnier when you're about to take a drink xD
"Fiji is in the Caribbean" oh lord
Im just thinking of jordans character just standing there with his big stupid face just taking all the insults from the classmates as he waits forever to answer the question
James' reaction to Jordan's character is priceless
School does not teach common sense, which is most useful in life. You the man Koots!
Im pretty sure in grade 4 we never talked about the industrial revolution...
Jordan didn't graduate from high school, that actually really surprises me. I figured him out of any of the creatures would have finished. Eh, atleast you got an amazing job like YouTubing, I'd kill for a job like this in the future.
Fiji is in the Caribbean?! Jesus Christ Jordan...
YES WE REQUESTED THIS AND YOU HAVE GIVEN US THX
"Fiji, it's in the Caribbean." o_O
Yes Fiji is in the Caribbean not in the Pacific XD
The guys need to do this again, it's hilarious to watch them play trivia.
I'm convinced Jordan only has 3 shirts.
Today in R.E, we were learning about Maslow's Hierarchy of needs so I was so frantic when Jordan was spelling Hierarchy
With 1,000,000$ Jordan can fix his characters face!
Seriously just the fact that Hierarchy took so long to figure out is mind boggling xD
"Hierarchy"
James' reaction at 13:10 :DDDDD
Jordan never finished highschool? He seems like he would've been a great student, and he's a smart guy. Good for him for doing well for himself regardless.
I can't stop laughing at James in the intro
They should put James on the hot seat and make him play Jenga with Jordan and Aleks
As soon as I saw this in my subfeed I immediately sang the song from the show. I CAN'T be the only one.
Oh my god this game pulled the "lol Seattle isn't the capital of Washington" trick. What a dick move.
I live there so I knew it, but that is like, the ultimate trick question.
I think the ultimate trick question is asking your kid who their parents are, and then telling them they're adopted.
Jordan's struggle with hierarchy was making me facepalm so hard D:
17:33 That's not 4th grade. That is AP Euro shit right there.
That moment you know the answer, but realize your present and their present are completely different. Making you the person from the future.
I feel like I'm the only one watching in 2017. Lmao.
RD2GAME same
OH MY GOD THE LENGTH OF THE STRING DOESN'T DETERMINE THE LENGTH OF THE NOTE IT DETERMINES THE PITCH GOD DAMNIT
I never graduated high school and I never got in college, I'm not not shame of it, I'm tired of being a slave so when finally done with school and had few jobs I finally living my free life doing whatever I want
sir this is a wendy's
jut put the fries in the bag bro
I think Jordan's character would make a series of grunting sounds and that's how he communicates

Hey! If it wasn't for school I wouldn't know the most important fact in the world: that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
John Smith
Yeah! And that knowledge is gonna take us places!
being in honors classes, the million dollar question was killing me slowly
does he not remember "i before e except after c"
+Jasper Mueller That's completely inaccurate though and only applies to like 6 words
sceince apparently
Omfg i was about to scream at my screen "ITS KITCHEN GOD DAMN JORDAN"
Why you got to do this to me.
Is hierarchy suppose to be hard to spell? It's literally spelt how it sounds.
It was a tossup between heirarchy and hierarchy for me.
***** i before e except after c bro
***** Yeah except that rule is bullshit and hardly ever works.
*****
That's really true, but that's what I always do to remember how to spell hierarchy, because it's one of the words it actually works for. :3
***** "I" before "e" except after "c".
Aleks is so smart that he can't even teach Jordan because he might finish the whole game.....right?
wtf was that about the Industrial Revolution in 4th grade
I'm learning that in high school
yeah ikr we didn't learn it till 7th grade
Jordan is the most awesome idiot ever. He struggles endlessly over how many nouns are in a sentence, but just happens to know what Phylum Porifera is...Don't ever change, Jordan. You're the best. xD
Jordan chose the Asian chick. I see what you did there..
Your past is intriguing
the gaslighting at the end
Being British, this is painful... Olympia is the capital of Washington. Fiji is also not in the carribean haha, and how have you not heard of Long John Silver? He's the most famous pirate! Even made up the pirate voice (Robert Newton) you guys in America need QI!
Congratulations. You are smarter than a fifth grader.
"Being British, this is painful... Olympia is the capitol of Washington" That definitely makes sense.
QI? Do you mean IQ? Lol.
I meant that even us over here have heard of Olympia... and QI is a program that's about random facts, really good though!
This is painful for any somewhat intelligent person
this is by far my favorite hot seat episode.
Damn intro, you scary!
Best trio in the Creatures
