Lots of vibrations for the street, especially without a cushion drive hub. WR aren't as bad as other enduros, though. 2-strokes are a bit less not that they're easy to find for street these days.
Any modern 450 trail bike will be fun on the track. They all have strong power and adjustable suspension, plus the trail bike chassis are designed to protect the rider from fatigue (soft mounts for engine and handlebars, etc). The wide ratio gearboxes (compared to track bikes) will not be an issue since the powerbands are very broad, plus you won't actually be racing on a trail bike so we are only about having fun. I just bought a very clean used 2016 WR450F and can't wait to get it out there. Thanks for another good video.

Most MX tracks, even my local MX track, still frowns upon on having a headlight and fixed kickstands on their MX tracks. But, I mainly bought my WR for hare scrambles and single tracks. The WR 450F matches my riding style quite well. When buying my new bike, I knew that I wanted a WR 450F or the recently discontinued RMX-450Z. I could of bought a new carry-over RMX-450Z for half the price of the WR 450F, for anyone looking to buy this type of bike.

Hey I sent you I think two messages I think in email form? But they kicked back or something??? So I couldn’t find any video’s with bigger wheels on smaller bikes? I’m not sure if they just don’t fit &
the modern WR is basically just YZ with road legal lights.
wr is a legend and one of the best if not the best enduro bike ever..people know..just look how expensive wr is used and see ktm..same year wr 1000 euros min more
yea, it is a great bike!
indonesia love yamaha australia
obviously you can ride! there is a saying, its the man not the equipment!
Thanks bro, i am slowly learning new things and gaining little more speed
@@dirtniron if only i can do half what you can!
I have a 2000 ktm 300 exc with a demon spring for the power valve, it can be a motocross or a woods bike and that’s all I need
sounds good Trevor! thanks for sharing
Wrf 250 or 450 for forest and sometimes streets? I like 250's better in forest because it is light and some other benefits, but I think it'll be slow on the road... 450 is good too, but I'm worried that it's too much power in the forest and can't use it at it's limits... I'm riding rmz250 set up for trials and want to buy wrf, thoughts?
Sorry for grammar, I'm from eastern europe.
wr250f will do 95mph think that is fast enough for the roads and dirt.
@@adriantompson which one is better in your opinion?
@@Brity_107 love my 250f if you can ride the 250 flat out its a lot of fun. dont think most people need a 450 tires you out quicker. 250 will go further with out filling up with petrol. try to demo the both as there both very good.
@@adriantompson thanks a lot man ;)
yea,. I guess go for wr250 and do all the free mods
I just bought the 2019 wr450f my question is how do I take out the throttle stop? Please help
here is good video, its in russian but has a subtitles: th-cam.com/video/Wc29UDM936Q/w-d-xo.html
The store should ask if you ride street or enduro. Wr450 is yz450f race bike with enduro mods. Has equal amont of horses
Basically just the yz 450 with a headlight and softer suspension.
yea, and timing and wide ratio gearbox and few more restrictions
And add 30 or 40 pounds
compression is diff, timing is dif, alot heavier
No
@@Jake_Hyndsnow now. Let’s not get carried away there hoss.
of course you can, like you can ride endoro with a motocross bike..
Would love to own one
I own a 2019 1 well my dad
What track is this filmed at ? Kinda looks like Cahuilla Creek
I thought we was trying to say Korea...🤣
yes Cahuilla Creek
I will run the text on the screen next time i try saying Cahuilla 😉
@@dirtniron 🤦🏼♂️No, your good.
I was just being goofy, I wouldn't have pronounced it correct myself💁🏼♂️🤣
Now I am curious of how it would have read with captioning on.
Do dirtbike with light need less rebuild
Usually yes, longer maintenance intervals
This bike is not too heavy ? 120kg for a motocross use?
its not ideal for MX but as you saw its possible. Definitely feels the best on the trails
@@dirtniron thanks ;)
My mate can only afford one bike, and rides the same enduro and motocross.. Had suspension re valved !
cool! thanks for sharing
what track is this at?
Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza
Snip a gray wire somewhere to give it more power I hear works on the older wr.
yes on older bikes with carb have that mod.
@@dirtniron right, I get you, it's all change on the new.
Nice, I'm learning motocross on my 2008 EXC 125 and it goes very well on track. Do you have any tips for arm pump? I'm struggling with it so much.
cool man! I think the biggest thing with arm pump is to relax, dont hold that bike will all your strength, try to squeeze it with knees and have your hand grip little lighter. and keep riding, it will get better with practice, I used to suffer a lot from arm pump, it got lot better now.. still have it sometimes..
Take a street legal DRZ400 on the track
:)
I'll take that as a yes !
What track?- thanks
cahuilla creek MX
7:46. “Get her” not “jitter”.
hello
hi
Hablas español?
not really, sorry hermano
Did you paint your thumbnail with a hammer again?
Hahaha, its still the same one 😉
An xr400 can handle the motocross track. It’s the rider
yes, thats right
Legalize MX Bikes on Public Roads!
You can get pretty much any bike street legal. My wr is street legal
Probably not in California tho...
@@dirtniron idk. I've never lived in California. The laws in Commiefornia are crazy. I'm in az. Pretty sure you can get something titled street legal somewhere else and then transfer it though.
First
Stick to trail riding bro, you are always in a higher gear then you should be
so there is no hope for me? lol
why dont you just tell me to shift down one gear ;)
Shift down 1 gear then mate haha 😉
thanks for the advice mate :)
I have both the YZ is faster
Yes, yz is faster for sure. Too fast for me 😉
