Thank you again!! Love how you take your time to explain. Love your stuff! Do you have a video on the wreath? I loved it.
My aunt did a wreath made into flowers over 50 years ago and still looks amazing! So thank you for the how to! I love Chianti wine
Fave wine is a red blend called museum. Loved how you called your pliers “wrenches” gave me a chuckle. The flowers from pinecones are adorable. ❤
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😁 ❤️

I just read that you crocheted the wreath, beautiful! It looked like a sweater. Thank you for a year round wreath
I love the tutor with the pine cones. I'm going to try one myself.
Love these. I have been trying to cut them. Thanks for your help
I love this and going to try this. I love Chianti yoo.
My favorite wine is Michelob Ultra. 😊🍻. I enjoyed your video and look forward to the next.
Hahaha I love that!! I do love so Michelob Ultra from time to time myself. 😆🍻
Love these! The pine one also looks like it would make a great eye for another craft! Can you see the eye? Is it just me?
You were cracking me up!! I kept waiting for the cuss words! Lol. Great job... thanks for the video!
Wine makes me chatty. It's a miracle there are no cuss word in my videos. I work hard to keep it PG. 😆
Thanks for watching!! 💕
The wreath is gorgeous🌿🌱
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it! 😊
I used outdoor bush loppers. I just cut right through (once or twice) depending on the size of the pinecone.
Loved your video, next week I'm using pine cone flowers to help with wedding decorations for my best friends "rustic wedding " I think they'll look great around the mason jar lights :)
Im so glad you loved the video! That sounds like an awesome idea for wedding decor. I'm sure it will be gorgeous!😊

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it 😊
Thank you for doing a craft that will not be hard for me, I enjoy crochet and crafts but don't have a lot of time for real complicated things.
I'm so glad you like it. I love the feedback. I want to do more videos through the week and was wondering if I should do some easier crafts. You answered that question 😊 Thanks!
I will be doing your crochet wreath as soon as I finish a blanket I'm making for my grandson..@@BeCraftyWithMegan I wish you all the best on your new channel.
Do you have instruction or a tutorial on crocheting around the ring for the wreath? Your wreath is so elegant looking. I just love it!
This was one of my first videos and I never did post the tutorial for the crochet part. I glad you like it so much! I will work on getting the tutorial posted for you very soon 😊
DrinkWineBeCrafty Hi there, I am still patiently waiting for the tutorial on crocheting around the wreath. I understand that you must be very busy with the holidays coming up so quickly, but if you have the pattern, I will settle for that. Thanks so much. Avid watcher......waiting.
@@conniedevroy5591 I have had it on my mind to get it done since you asked about it but I have had a crazy busy last couple of weeks. I will make it happen this week for sure. It's on the top of my priority list. 😉
Thank you so much for your prompt response. Hope you have an easier week.
@@conniedevroy5591 I was finally able to get the tutorial posted today. I hope you like it! 😉
Pine cones usually close up again when they're painted...do you bake them again after painting them?
Also, want to say thanks for this video....you did an awesome job!!!
I'm so glad you like this video! I've never had them close again after painting. I bake the pinecone before I use them so maybe that's why. I bake them for 20 minutes on 200.
Thanks Excellent 😊😊
Aj like this👍👏🙋💐
You need pruning shears to cut the pine cone.
great video. how did u stick the flower after finishing painting? did u use glue or something else?
Thanks! I used hot glue when I put them on the wreath.
wrench/ pliers.....cracking me up , I am LOL
You're so pretty!
Aw thank you so much! ☺
Try to use loppers . Much easier.
I watched a couple other videos about painting pinecones to look like flowers.....I have not tried it yet myself so I don't know if your way or their way is better/easier but they just took some garden tools called "lopers" * the kind of thing you'd prune roses with..*
and cut the pinecones in half without all the extra pulling out pieces, first. Letting you know if you want to attempt it in the future to find easier way.
Thanks for the recommendation! I was working with the tools I had at the time. Even though I couldn't tell if it was a wrench or pliers 🤣 🤣.
Nice
Thank you!
I think the saw makes the cut too clean looking. I use garden clippers and they make a nice jagged center.
Does baking them make them more brittle and easier to break apart?
I bake them because I get them from outside and it kills and bugs in them.
Maybe use a handsaw song to cut right down the middle? Just a thought maybe I’ll try it
I tried a handsaw since making this video and it didn't work well for me. The pinecones fell apart too much. I found that pruning shears are the best. Here's the link to my video showing the shears. Thanks for watching! th-cam.com/video/P5FWWueie8s/w-d-xo.html
Do you think you could use a small handsaw to cut them instead, I was thinking it might make it easier?
Yes, that would be the way to go. I don't have a handsaw so I was just working with the tools I had.
You helped me understand where my stink bugs were coming from! They have been sitting in a bag for about a month in the house. Oops! What temperature? For 2 hours?
I love your crochet piece. I may try to wrap a Styrofoam wreath with lace.
I'm so glad this helped! I bake mine at 275 F. 30 minutes should do the trick.
Pruning shears work better !
For sure! I've l actually have some new videos where I use pruning shears. Definitely the best tool for the job. 😊
alot easier if you use pruning shears, cut them right off,
I totally agree. I have a newer pine cones flower video where I use that tool. Here's the link if you interested in checking it out th-cam.com/video/seFwkKTDhNk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for watching! 😊
A hack saw or other small saw would be a good way to wey to do that. I.t is made of word ya know. I makes it easier.. The petals do break off fairly easy. Where I live there are six different cones, so look around. There are evergreen trees that are not Pine trees. so the comes are different.
Think I'll use my bandsaw to cut it in half.
Get some clippers! No using pliers to clean out the middle. And get a leather glove to save your hand. Pine cone slivers can get very infected 😮
Wouldn’t it be easier to use a small hand saw
I actually tried a hand saw and it didn't work very well.
I just left my pinecones in a plastic bag in my car for the whole summer just about in that did the same thing as bacon gets really hot in the car with the windows closed
Lol. That sounds like a great idea.
