your glendon place turkey looks amazing. yes that is a badger. they have the two toned faces. also, the mushroom piece by owl forest is really tempting
I love that you love Frances books. I love them too and also passed on that love to my daughter, who has been in the teaching profession for over 20 years now and has introduced many students to Frances also. ( My daughter's favorite story was also the tea set one. 😃 )

Pam, Your turkey is gorgeous! I'm a November baby as well...veterans day though...& I'm loving the Owl Forest piece! I agree with doing the border too. Can't wait to get the market patterns( as if I don't have plenty to stitch) lol. Thanks for sharing!

"Bedtime for Frances" was one of my favorite books as a child. Thank you for the happy memory of that series. 🙂
Oh, Frances was one of my favorite book characters. I remember her teaching me about the concept of being fair and treating others fairly. I remember a story about Frances and a tea set that resulted in an unfair trade. Such a lovely reminder.

I am not a "fancy lady" lady... I mean, I see all the mirabilias and belle Filipinas and they are GORGEOUS, but I never really give them a second glance, but omg your blackbird😍😍!!!! And that fabric!!! I love it love it love it and u may have just enabled me! 🐈⬛🪡❤️
I have been hearing from several flosstubers that they like 2 strands to stitch. I am 1 of those people. I love using 2 strands. I use it in all my stitching even 18 and 20 aida and also 32 linen.

Sir Thomas is in the final stage! Can’t wait to see it when it’s framed. And can I say where the heck did August go! It was Gone in a blink of the eye. Definitely a badger I agree and the bunny with the cat mask, so stinking cute. Thank you Pam! I. Sir Thomas is looking fantastic! I am having the same problem with giant mice right now. Even if I don't feed the bird they still come around. We have woods behind us so lots of critters love my house. I just don't want them in the house and they have been there before. I bought a bait box with poison that sits behind some seat storage bins in our outdoor kitchen. It helps reduce the population, but it seems they multiply more than I can keep up with. 😱
