It was over torqued and using a electric driver will strip it. Should’ve broken it loose by hand. I’ve had a lot of apprenticeships strip screws because they don’t want to break it loose. Had a guy strip the 2 torx bolts on a Chevy cam. He just used the gun on them and didn’t break it loose with a ratchet.
Often you can release a nut/bolt/screw by tightening it slightly before loosening it ... obviously penetrating oil helps; but wipe it off the head before trying to remove! If the screw head is damaged (particularly cross-heads) then put a patch of rubber between the driver and head to help get purchase (often been shown on TH-cam).
The best way I've always found to get a stripped screw out is to just cut a line in the screw and use a flat head screwdriver or drill to get it out, it works almost 100% of the time in my experience.

Ok so you didn’t put any ass into the drill and stripped out the screw on purpose. Pliers wont work anyway but cmon those are wire strippers for god sakes and now look. Are you trying to re thread the head of the screw?

I have a brand new set of these extractors. I have had them for about 30 years. I have never needed to use them even once.. A manual impact driver with the proper Phillips bit, not only would get that screw out, but you’d be able to use the screw again

Всегда так делал с болтами с полукруглой шляпкой, как на видео. С потайной шляпкой, естесственно, так уже не получится, придётся придумывать что-то другое.
