- A short documentary about Afghan hound in its natural habitat.
Founded in 2010 by a team of Afghan’s and expat’s with over 30 years combined experience in the creative fields, Kuchi Productions aims to bring a new standard of quality to film, photography and design within Afghanistan and to present to the international community a vision of the country hitherto unseen.
We specialise in accessing areas of the country which may appear beyond reach, yet with careful planning and respect for local customs we can access a hidden world and in doing so reveal the untold stories of our times.
Film: Production of the highest quality documentary film is the central passion of the Kuchi Productions team. Drawing on the experience of a multinational, award winning crew combined with local knowledge and cutting edge equipment, each film made aims to give a unique window into another world with the highest production values possible.

I thoroughly enjoyed this clip. As an Afghan-descent, it disheartens me to see that Afghan hounds are so rare within Afghanistan. But atleast some owners are looking after them. I worry they may be endangered.

I'm Australian and find Afghanistan to be a fascinating place so different to here yet we share much in common (Hunting with running dogs being one of them) , keep making this excellent content.
The country of Afghanistan has a special and beautiful nature with beautiful rivers and truly untouched mountains, but unfortunately, over forty years of war, the educational system, health and life of the people were involved and they went into poverty.
I am from this country, I hope peace without war and its economy will flourish again and you will come to see the country.

I think we should give them AFGHAN HOUNDS a purpose for example running competition or a fake rabbit running chacing sport so people keep them dogs and look after them so it can win them competitions.

The people who owns animals in their home should look after them but unfortunately this person didn't care enough of his pets as I saw the video his dogs are sooooo hungry when they have babies they also need plenty of food to feed their babies please be kind to animals if you seeking kindness from god

Thanks Kuchifilm for such a wonderful job. I love Tazi, the Afghan hound. I studied them but I could not see them in Afghanistan. Please try to raise a fund for this breed and I hope it will not be facing the misery of extinction. We have to protect them. It is very rare in other parts of the world and it is very expensive. Its look and body are very attractive and I request the world animal protection agencies to assist in the protection of this rare dog breed, indigenous to Afghanistan.
