How many accommodations do you get to choose? I have an offer and am in the accommodation searching stage and there doesn't seem to be any information anywhere! I love this video btw it has been very helpful
Hey gal, glad you enjoyed! I can't remember how many there are to decide from overall but there's quite a lot, but when you actually choose you have to rate your top 5 choices with number 1 obviously being the one that you would like to stay in the most and then they try as best as possible to give everyone their first or second choice. The quicker you apply for accommodation tho the more likely you are to get your top choice. Hope this helps! xx
Hey there, What are the most useful apps for postgraduate international students in UK to help them in their studies and make their lives easier during the intensive study load ? Hope to hear from you soon .. thanks
Hi! No we just got told that it was QM and everyone got told they were in a single even though half the blocks are double beds (so try and not buy loads of bed stuff for a single just incase you’re in a double!), but you only find out your block and your flat on the day you move x
Hi! From the ones that I’ve seen I’d say majority of them have slightly less floor space and the interior is slightly different with different types of windows. The main difference is the en-suite as murano is shared bathrooms xx
Hi! Basically everyone gets offered a single en-suite regardless of whether it’s a double bed or a single bed! You just have to find out when you move whether it’s a double or single so try to not buy a huge amount of bedding just incase it’s the wrong size! Xx
Hi gal thank you!! It’s unfortunately not on the website anymore because I bought it quite a few years ago before I moved to uni but there’s similar ones in IKEA and on the website desenio xx
Hi there! For your other comment yes I believe it’s just September, and for grades no not at all! I was under the impression I needed straight A’s to get in and a lot of people that go here did get straight A’s but it’s not vital. You are just more likely to be given an unconditional offer compared to a conditional one. I didn’t get all A’s but wrote a good personal statement and achieved my requirements for my conditional offer and managed to get in. Hope this helps xx
Hi, yeah I am! The facilities are all so close and easy to access. Because QM is a bit smaller than the likes of murano etc I personally find it a bit more homely and legit takes like 30 seconds to get to the other side of the accomodation so very quick and easy to meet friends. Again socially cause it’s a bit smaller you’re always bumping into people you knew and as far as I am aware they usually do like movie nights and social nights in the central services building but those weren’t possible atm because of covid. Hope this helps x
Hi Stefanie! I cant find you in Instagram, I want to talk with you about this video since I am going to UofG this year! Please tell me how I Can reach you

Hey there,
What are the most useful apps for postgraduate international students in UK to help them in their studies and make their lives easier during the intensive study load ?

Is this suite very expensive?
Hi! In your accommodation offer, do they include the exact place in QM you were offered? Like which block you are in?

and is it only just a september intake?
Hey this was super useful. I’m moving into murano large flats. Are they fairly similar? X

is this a single ensuite? i just got offered Queen Margaret accommodation, thank you x

Hii!! what are the grade requirements u need to get accepted to uofg ? Do you really need all A’s?

It also obviously depends on what course you are applying for as well as some of them your grades play a bigger role than others xx
ahh Thankyou so much! ❤️
one more question.. is UCAT a must to do?
Are you liking QM so far, apart from just the room (facilities/people/social aspect)
