- The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift is a compelling purchase in the segment of sub 4 meter compact SUVs. However, it faces direct competition from its own sibling, the Renault Kiger. While the Magnite is fresh and new, the Kiger enjoys discounts in the market.
So which of the two SUVs should you be putting down your money for? Have a look at Bunny Punia's detailed analysis in this exclusive video.
Wonderful comparison. I have the Nissan Magnite CVT Turbo XV Permium bought in 2023 and have driven 11,000km. The conclusions you drew are accurate. Magnite is a better package overall.
How much mileage are you getting in city drive as well as highway? How is after sales service quality at your city? Pls tell. Your experience will be very useful
Service has been top notch in pune for Magnite
@@subhashchandrabose7346 Service is good enough by Nissan's standards I guess. (But I'm not easily satisfied) Mileage in city is around 10kmpl (Hyderabad) and 15 plus on Highways.
Attention to detail is mediocre (I think all showroom service is mediocre at best. They do not know what torque wrench is and they'll over tighten the wheel lug nuts with pneumatic impact wrench. I've had to buy my own Torque Wrench to properly tighten my wheel lug nuts. Also they do not properly answer some of the questions I have regarding the CVT fluid change process and the parts availability. If you're a technically inclined person and want to fully involve in the maintenance of your car, all the showroom service folk will be woefully inept)
I paid for full pre-paid maintenance package (which includes 5 years worth of oil changes, oil filter changes, cabin air filter changes and 1 air intake change). It doesn't include harsh driving condition changes (which means you gotta pay for those yourself).
I'm never satisfied with showroom service because I like to do things properly (the way manufacturer recommends.. and the showroom folk never do it that way). Not suzuki or hyundai or honda. I think only Toyota service folk follow standard manufacturer recommended practices.
But the vehicle has been fuss free so-far. Apart from 2 punctures (which I plugged myself), I didn't have to do anything. I've only had 1 free service done so far. Perhaps Nissan will wow me with their service quality next time. Hoping for the best!
All the features work as expected. Only android auto acts up sometimes (disconnecting randomly when when connected via wire - It only happens in certain places so I think it's not Nissan's fault).
Brakes make a little bit of noise first thing in the morning but that goes away as you continue driving.
I did the mistake of getting magnite this year may, I face issue related to service. In Bangalore Nissan service is pathetic and not customer friendly. Nissan service center itself misses if we cross metro cities. RSA is very bad from Nissan side. Renault has bigger presence at least compared to nissan. Always choose brand with good service for peaceful driving please.
Do you suggest renault has better service than nissan?
@@avinashchowdary-d5zYes brother Renault service is better than Nissan ..In my state many Nissan dealers have shut down..
Nissan badiya se re isliyoo ee ka face lift jaldi aae gavaa kuch bhi bolat se
Bro same renault service also very bad
I test drove both the vehicles and I felt both are of same for a 5 kms ride. Overall Magnite looks bold with some extra safety features, but Kiger interiors looks bit premium and it have modes of drives to select like Nexon and also kiger is bit costlier than Magnite. Finally, I decided to go with Nissan Magnite and booked Turbo CVT and awaiting for its delivery.
New interior is better than kiger
Actually kiger won't be costly with offer..i a buying kiger AMT Optional, on road price is 10.3lac, but with offer I m getting in 9.4l..where magnite accent on road price is 9.3l, but with no offer ..and i am getting more feature in kiger like allow wheel n all
@@p.s1104 amt non turbo at 9.4 lakh is not worth.
@@lolthunderstorm2344 yeah but in magnite also I am getting non turbo only with this price..for turbo it will cost more than 11lac for both car
@@lolthunderstorm2344 In mid segment, N-Connecta which I booked doesn't have much changes. New interior is better only in Tekna variants.
Sir... I am looking forward to buy New Magnite Tekna Non Turbo MT Variant....
Not a big enthusiasts of driving .....
60 - 80kmpl...
Does all the comfort available.... In the variant I have mentioned....
Kindly reply you feedback......
Kiger looks like a perfect hatch
True
Thanks for the nice comparison. Nissan claims to have improved the cushioning of the seats in the facelifted Magnite. Did you notice any difference?
How is turbo cvt magnite in hilly climbing terrain
I believe in AMT Magnite has upper hand because it comes in base varient with necessary features.
Yes bro same thoughts
It's the main reason of sale of magnite more than kiger
Nice comparison. Please just do a quick 3 mins drive review b/w AMT vs CVT of nissan magnite. Eagerly waiting
I chose kiger for renault service center in my city but the dealership closed their service nd showroom 3 months ago.... I was really disappointed
Renault need to fasten up and compete in indian market in an agressive way.
When can we expect face-lift for Kiger, I hope thy bring CNG options also 😊
i wonder if they already fixed the brake noise, since it's really loud and annoying especially in low speed at heavy traffic
That only happens if the car is not driven to much
@@sharkpeid I drove it (Kiger) everyday since it's work car but alas still same problem
other Magnite owner brought it to Nissan dealer and have entire brakes cleaned, only to have noisy squeaky brakes again in the next month
I hope they fix the brake noise, so I can buy the updated parts in next service
100 kgextra weight in NIssan affect the mileage adversely by about 1 kmpl.
Bro
But that 100 kg will give u a safdty if there is a crash
So u want safety or additional 1km millage?
If u ask me safety only bro
Kiger roof rails are functional can carry 53kg
Mood light is available in kiger too..
Amazing sir. Honestly share difference between both car.
Glad you liked it
Kiger ❤❤❤❤
Lately all of your car reviews videos seems as biased and paid review .
Ee dono ma magnite hi badiya se re bhayaa...ee ma kauno confusion na se
Very useful comparison
Glad it was helpful!
Magnite
Any day kiger looks macho in front of magnite..
Kiger looks bigger and its taller than Magnite Renault service is better than Nissan
Nissan magnite not having any other color is a drawback ... Bakwas color hai yaar ...red, black, white colors available nahi hai ..only orange 👎
