What a lovely cover of such a transcendent song! Kudos to the videographer for capturing each performer in their own moment of bliss! Great lead vocals, with an interesting edge into gravel. And the energy and joy of the bassist is the greatest thing to see! Quite infectious! I was grinning as much as he was!
I've only known this tune for about a year. Never was a huge Morrison fan, but this tune has been driving me crazy ever since. It's amazing, and there are tons of great covers here on TH-cam.

I like the arrangement with the guitar doubling as a mandelin. The singer tho lacking a lil control does have a cool rawness to his tone. That can't be learned, but the control can. He also looks a lot like a young Brad Pit. Maybe a lil like Collie Budd to. That should give him some mileage in the mean time. The toughest thing to do is keep the band together & maintain the chemistry.
These guys do a pretty creditable job of this song but as many others like to pick their favorites as the "greatest cover", have not listened to Joe Cocker live in berlin.

Too bad the vocalist murders the words (poor enunciation) and lyrics (getting ‘em wrong in a few places) because otherwise this is seriously good and could have been stellar!
Ok cover , it's hard to cover because the original is a masterpiece, Van levitated on it, and people who try to cover often miss it's subtle build, . Here the "drums" are too sharp , the singer sounds like he being stung by something nasty, the other guys are good though.
Why do people feel they have to criticise or compare a song to the original? It's not a contest. If you don't want to hear a great song covered then don't listen to the cover. They obviously like the song and gave an honest performance. What do you really expect - them to sound like the original FFS?
