Oh c'moooooon, how was i supposed to find that lol, and it's so simple.. Thanks for the video :) I hesitated to check the walkthrough, but i got tired of spamming the instinct view and Lara saying: ''Must be a way to free another cart...'' For PC users: if you're shooting a rope arrow at the minecart behind the gate but it isn't getting pulled through, you're experiencing a glitch. Try this to resolve. 1. Save your game. 2. Go to Options > Display. 3. Set Refresh Rate to 60 HZ. 4. Set VSYNC to Double Buffered. 5. Exit to Main Menu and then press Continue to reload your game. 6. Shoot the minecart with a rope arrow again. It should be pulled through the gate. You can undo the Display settings changes afterward.
@@evam5452 It's strange that the option would be completely missing. More broadly I'd try reducing the framerate via other means at that point. Most games save configuration options in a .ini file stored somewhere on your computer but it seems Rise of the Tomb Raider does not - rather it writes directly to the Windows registry (which I do not recommend messing around with unless you know what you are doing). In any case the graphics config path in the registry was reported on the Steam forums as "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider\Graphics". Alternatively nVidia video cards have a means by which to set a cap on your framerate via the nVidia Control Panel. It is in "Manage 3D Settings" > Max Frame Rate. Turn it "On" and set to 60. I am not sure this option would work but it is worth trying.
Unfortunately, this game is a buggy mess. Many collectibles can't be retrieved. For this particular tomb, I figured out how to suspend the mine cart to "block" the water... except the water isn't blocked. It continues to cascade down around the hanging mine cart, even though the cart is supposed to block the water. Dying and reloading don't fix it, so this tomb can't be completed. It's a shame that the devs haven't bothered to fix these kinds of bugs even after all this time.
I like the game. But, this game has more issues than Ubisoft games . I'm playing right now and it's like this game wants me to hate it. I enjoyed the 1st in the new trilogy, but this one... is not that great.
And people complain too many video games aren't hard enough... I mean sure you just need to be mindful of your surroundings, but I have never played a game in my life that has puzzles so complex and requiring so many steps.

Change fps and lower graphic settings. Might help

The mine carts are NOT on the rails..so I can't get whatever reward is given..it sucks
I had this happen and just went back up and pulled another mine cart down, then roped it again on top. This time, the water stopped.
