Melanija Stanković, better known to the public as MELI, started her musical journey at the age of 7, falling in love with the violin. Growing up with a father involved in music and film production, she was exposed to a wide range of both traditional and non-traditional world music. However, at the age of 16, she discovered her passion for electronic music and developed an interest in DJing.
Starting with trance and electroswing, she delved deeply into all branches of electronic music, discovering numerous subgenres of colorful house and techno. Today, she combines these two styles in her sets, incorporating plenty of good house grooves, disco and gospel vocals, and progressive rhythms that ignite a strong desire to dance.
Due to her immense love for electronic music and her vast and diverse music collection, as well as being an abstract artist, she doesn't like to limit herself to just one genre. Instead, she follows the crowd and strives to make each night unique, which has proven to be very successful in clubs and bars in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Montenegro, and Croatia!
