The dubstep wubbing to me fits with the theme. Akuma's theme mixed in represents Ryu becoming the same kind of being he is now. The melancholy sound of his theme represents him succumbing to the dark power and bloodlust, straying from his own set path and everything that he was taught and believed in. The wubbing represents his mind and body being warped by the Satsui No Hado into the Ryu everyone no longer knows.
Thats incredibly accurate, In the supposed "Street Fighter 4 movie" Ryu was struggling to keep himself from turning to the bloodthirsty Sastui no hado. Only thing that stopped him in that meantime was Sakura, and possibly Ken
You actually explain him in this game, in his boss battle there are two dialogues that really fits "its over ken, not even you can stop me" "Your Ryu is gone"
Yes,this is actually a tragic charecter. Ryu is a homeless artist,trying to master his art,no esle. Evil ryu is when ryu lost control over himself,went to the edge of insanity and murderous intent. Ryu is no longer a sane human, but an insane murderer.
He's not homeless how do you think he travels the world to fight people. Rumours say he works for the Mafia as an enforcer. I'm talking about normal Ryu
The "wubbing" in this theme sounds a lot like a didgeridoo, actually. Also, the way that sound is constantly speeding up and slowing down again could be symbolic of the uncontrollable power of the Satsui no Hadou that's overtaken Ryu in this state.
It's scarier to think that when the Satsui No Hado got the best of him,Ryu was STRONGER than Akuma,and even still Ryu has been fully relieved of it,and looks to be stronger than ever before.

If I were musical director I would have had Both Ryu and evil Ryu song playable at the same time yet able to still stand alone and feel like nothing was left out. Giving them a yin yang quality. I have no idea how feasible doing something like that is it just sounds cool to me

The mix of the Gouki music and the kinda meloncholy flute melody underscore perfectly the story of this guy who's love of kicking the shit out of people travels down a dark route.
Street Fighter V teased Evil Ryu in the trailer....maybe in Super Street Fighter V? I mean cmon, not even Gouki is in SFV! He's like the icon of SF at this point(yea even more so than Ryu), he can't NOT be there... ...ah damn, forgot he's in Tekken 7.
