I've been playing The Sims since it first came out, with a long break in the middle, and I still am not bored playing it. However, I can't play everyday, or even weekly. I have a job, friends, a husband and family, other hobbies, a house and plently of responsibilities, so getting to play is rare and relaxing and very enjoyable whatever I get to play. The packs come out too fast for me to keep up with them. So I think if one gets tired of playing The Sims, it's a hint to start doing something else for awhile, then when you do have time to play again, it's a treat to do so. Kind of like ice cream, almost eveyone likes ice cream but one can't eat it all day or only eat ice cream, so it being something that we don't experience constantly, it really is a treat to have ice cream; and no one really has to dig to make eating ice cream more fun.
Facts. When people say they have burned through a pack already i am like ‘you need more to do outside of Sims’. I have Sims 2 and 4 on rotation and play them both. It’s my after work cozy playtime. And I have zero packs for sims 4 and just mc command center as a mod. I am thinking of maybe buying my first pack next paycheck.

@@TheDawnofVanlife agree, however I do think mods and add-ons are necessary, at least for me the game still gets kinda boring without them, also without having a story or in-game goals. so like I would rather just play other game after work, e.g. genshin that constantly gives me stories and enjoyable gameplay. But recently I discovered new things to do in sims and I'm very into it
I LOVE the wheel idea!! I am currently making my own save file (not to publish just for me as i'm using builds other creators have made) but I am LOVING making all the families, customising the houses and so on! I've never been so dedicated to playing the game hahaha! Also you mentioned this tip as I was typing it, great minds think alike :D

Such a good timing. Just started a new save yesterday. Found a save file based on Sims 3 Sunset Valley, and looking forward to start a legacy with one of the familiar townies.

I make a sim totally planning on making sure i complete aspirations and success in their career. Next thing I know i see a Sim i want them to be with, panic that that sim will move on to someone else, and my sim will miss out. I have a ton of saves that i have never finished. This video definitely helps.
Great tips! I love doing photoshoots with my Sims 😊 To add my own tip, explore or revisit careers and other content you normally don't. I didn't try running a vet clinic until 3 years after I bought Cats & Dogs!!

Ive recently downloaded all new world map overlays and it makes the towns look so much more alive! The ones i use from 20thCenturyPlumbob look exactly how the towns look in game so it feels so much more realistic!

I needed this because I’ve been getting bored with my gameplay and focused on customizing the worlds to my preferences. For example, in my saves, every world (except Batuu) has a community lot.

I always love your ideas ! thank you soooo much. I'm playing a teenager who is sooo nice and wants to have many skills, mainly like paint, music, writing... But also she loves life. And since I haven't play with vampire in sooo many years, I will make her like... "I WANT MORE" eheh. Can't wait. I had also your calendar idea but on another save and I'm to lazy to redo it damn. I literally spent hours using chat gpt to create a legacy challenge for me with random ideas that popped up in my head. Now I’ve got randomized events, holidays, challenges, and a full plan to keep from getting bored 😂

Omg I love recreating stories in the sims! I play apex legends and there are two characters that are together and I made them in the sims and played through everything. I even made their house it was so fun!
A tip that ties in well with the "photoshoot" thing, using cheats, you can quickly make your sims celebrities and gain acces to the 'pose for pictures' interaction where your sims will pose like models! Good if you want more professional looking photoshoots rather than cute, family ones. Then you can just make your sims 0 star celebrities again (also using cheats) and go back to your gameplay!
I did the playing with a gownie family i moved cassandra out, was looking forward to getting a great mother daughter then grandaughter/son grandmother realtionship. 2 days after i moved out bella died by evil chicken 😂😂

I play on my pc! I recommend getting a laptop or pc for ts4, as many people prefer it over console. ❤️

As someone who got the sims 4 in like 2017 and had the base game for like years now i m realizing i have not reallly experienced much because i instantly went for like the sims 3 and the sims 2 or 1 and now i kind of want to see the game for what it is and stuff and maybe i was thinking of a lepacy. I d love to try out diferent things
If you plan on getting dlc for ts4, I'd 100% recommend waiting for a sale. I regret buying lots of the packs for ts4, so choose which ones wisely haha. I hope you enjoy exploring ts4!

I like that this is the only comment she didn't like, must have been butt hurt by this comment. The amount of copium youtubers like this one (who apparently have run out of ideas to make this game exciting they just recycle content over and over again) is just unbelievable.
