Loving this design. I actually recognized all these cards because I’m in the process of building a Bruna, Light of Alabaster deck. So as you named all these cards, they had already come to mind lol.
Cage of hands is practically a must, because you can use it to pin an enemy creature and repeatedly trigger Light-Paws. And I would argue for darksteel mutation
So I build the deck for amazingly good got first at my local edh night and agreed the mana cost of auras you want to play is between 3 and 4 as it where your other auras are
She’s awesome. I’ve already built a deck around her and there are so many cool enchantment combos you can search up to make her incredibly hard to remove. One of my favorites is Timely Ward/Pariah
I’m surprised you didn’t mention any removal auras. While a trade off would be that good removal also usually cost less, removal + tutor for an aura with Fox-paw seems very efficient for more highly coated removal options (which the higher the cost, the more diverse the tutor)
@@kalleyneves_2 While yes those are good cards, they also have a lower mana value. This makes them great in any deck for sure. However, if you want to add more removal to the deck while still incorporating Light-Paws’ effect, then there are more options that are still viable, especially at 3+ cmc. Arrest effects (“Can’t Attack or Block and Abilities can’t be activated” and typically cost 3cmc) are still viable in most commander games if that means you can tutor up Spirit mantle and All that glitters found at 2 cmc. Curse of Exhaustion (2WW, Gets ya Shielded by Faith, Battle Mastery, or Unquestioned Authority) keeps a storm player in check and Curse of Conformity (3WW, great for Sage’s Reverie) wipes out a player from using synergies found on creatures (not creature based however). Not to mention Overwhelming Splendor of course, though even the higher cost cmc there may be at critical mass for that one. Even options for Oblivion ring copies like Faith unbroken and Captured by the Consulate are still useful here. TDLR the point of running more aura based removal is to have more options for tutors that also stabilize the game board while advancing your game plan
Another notable card, I think, is Kitsune Mystic//Autumn-Tail, Kitsune Sage. Has a bit of a requirement to flip but once you do can be used as a very powerful political piece.
Another few good cards that offer a lot of protection for a single white mana and like 20 cents to buy is the ward cycle. Blue, green, black and red ward are all 1 white auras that give protection to that color. Shield of duty and reason also costs a white and gives pro blue and green. Bestow creatures also count as they enter as auras so Eidolon of Countless Battles is another good "gives +1/+1 for each aura"
I have a pretty nice rafiq of the many aura focused deck and as soon as I saw lightpaws I immediately thought how not play she is haha. I love her right now, but I've made my list be a lot of the aggressive auras mixed with handful of control enchantments and pacifism auras. I really like it a lot. 😭
Why is no one talking about the 14 or so white Aura cards with flash? Think about it, in response you can flash out an Aura to Tutor any one of your protection effect Auras.
Removal spells can be countered by protection auras, those giving protection from certain colours. Counter spells are worse of course, you will have to bait them out. But most counter spells cannot counter Light Paw's ability, so casting an innocent looking aura to trigger him and get one of the protection auras out to counter removal spells.
Hello, why is this deck organised as a combo? Am i blind and im not seeing any combo in the deck? Does anybody have any cool synergizes in this deck? Thank you for answer
I dont know, somehow i like instants and sorceries more as a voltron strategie... The auras just add a lot of mana and attention, so if you also lag haste that will be a hard time. Maybe my meta just allow the best auradecks to have a fair chance
Killian is a better aura commander because he reduces all of them by 2 mana. Most auras are overcosted. Offers the best removal and tutors in orzov. Sigarda is better because she has hexproof flying and cant be sac’d. Green offers more enchantress, ramp, draw
@@epicnessbrian5295 killian basically says all aura spells cost 2 less on your creature and opponents. The mana advantage is criminally underrated. Black gives you phyresis to close out game. And card advantage spells like bolas citadel to make use from killians Lifelink. On turn 3 you can cast 3 3 mana auras for 3 mana. That saves you 6 mana! And lets you generous gift a creature for 1 mana. Light paws is a joke when it comes to providing mana compared to killian. But light paws gives you cards. But being in black gives you cards which is better since if light paws is gone you lose card advantage engine. Most light paws decks are going to be mostly 1-2 mana auras so you can chain the card advantage but thats boring imo and going to be repetitive. Sign me up for a 6 mana eldrazi conscription. And playing jank overcosted auras that become amazing with killian. Also im biased because i have a killian deck and its in the top of my 9 decks i have. People criminally underestimate the deck.

Robe of Stars is an auto include in any Light Paws deck. Drives people NUTS! 😂😂

and it could be used politically if theres multiple threatening creatures on board. seems good. i was contemplating putting it in

Pls tell me more about your deck
List?

The only ones that o got a good answer was darksteel multations, reprobation and temporal removal

Made the deck and put aura removal in it and the two for one is real

As soon as I saw it I was doing some mad theorycrafting with conviction, cage of hands and forced worship
Skyblade's Boon.
She is definitely my favorite commander right now. Cheap, aggressive, mono colored. Perfect for me lol also her being a fox is pretty cool.
I can't wait to build this deck. I love white
I have Light-Paws...awesome Commander Deck
Sigarda’s aid, pacifism, darksteel mutation are all must adds in this deck

This one is really good with the trigger, however for Voltron I like Uril the MIststalker.
Whaaaat more support for auras! Nice
Skyblade's Boon: (1[W ]).:
Aura.:
+1/+1 Flying.:
(2[W]) Return to hand from battlefield or graveyard.

That’s a great point! Or just run sigardas aid. Gives them all flash!
Poor Bruna.. don't listen to him. You still the best Aura voltron.
Definitely use auras that can get themselves back to recast.
He's an incredible aura commander
I do like Bruna more but.....
This is a terrifying card
'tis a she :)
hey nice ideas. Can u make an Rashmi flash deck?
I would build Prison Voltron with it.
I have a friend who plays a million removal spells and counter spells. Its really hard to get my foot hold with this deck.

why the card looks so -4k hd???

If you develop a state that lets you cast auras for free, the game is probably over.
Even without the cheese, this is really fast for mono-white voltron
You can cast lashknife for free since you have a plains Just tap. Light paws
It’s mono white so it can’t be the best since you’re missing key colors but great video

do you still agree with this?
