People like Greenteck are more than just poppers. He is a Dancer and a Performer. His love for beats shines in his performance. Especially in round 2 with the Vibesquad track.
I don't care how the judges ruled, Greenteck absolutely killed that second round
Real Dancers know how to look at fellow Real Dancers. And both of them are amazing dancers. Nelson just won this battle, doesnt mean anyone is less or more of a dancer. Its the judges decision. Joining a battle means youre letting yourself be open to be judged by the judges and so you should respect the judges judgement. Thats that. Again both are amazing dancers :)
Then they won many just debout together some years after ^^

GREEN has the best clear complete body movement under control.
Nelson is complete trash! Every battle I see him in, he's always all over the place and his movements are sloppy. Greentek on the other hand is real clean with total control. He should have won this hands down.

Nelson lost against Slim Boogie and he lost against Greenteck... what is this?
Unless the song is long enough I always feel for one dancers. Green's first 5 to 10 seconds of his 2nd round took it imop. That's why they are the Professionals. When there is an opportunity they snatch it.
Green's moves are fresh original and dope and yes he is on beat and yes he has very good technique.
However, in this particular battle, Nelson was also able to show very good and clean technique, musicality, and he had his own feel or groove or style. Being original isnt just about fresh eye candy moves. Nelson owns his style already. And thats originality. It shows in his dance how he has more understanding of the music and how mature his own style is with how he utilizes his technique.

That was my point??? But if I were to take a guess (since no one here really knows) they probably have a list of the songs that will be in a pool that can be played. I say this because they not only dance to the beat, but they know precisely when certain drops or unique parts of the beat are coming up and can perform moves that just go hand in hand with these sounds. That is extremely difficult to do with having only heard the song, in that case you would see a lot more misses
The beginning of Greentecks second round 3:50 to 4:10 killed everything Nelson did the whole battle imo.

@Changman89 If you know about popping and dancing in general, u know damn well Greenteck took that, and you know DAMN WELL GREENTECK REALLY GOES INTO DEEP DANCING WHEN HE POPS!!! It just so happens to be that his dancing style has technique in it... Look up Nelson Vs Salah 2010, and you'll see that Salah clearly won each round, and he still lost, and don't give me that ''Ohh Salah is for the crowd'' excuse. He's a LEGEND, and so is Greenteck even though his young and been dancing since 16

hey CANT U FEEL NELSON's ONE STEP AHAED OF NORMAL BEATS?
1) look at 0:37~0:41, nelson makes movings during the 'mute' section ecpecially his RIGHT HAND. ok?
2) 2:52~3:01, nelson do poppins with whole part of his body, like a sawtooth, hand after foot, foot after hand and look at 2:59, he make a break point by pop of left hand.
it is an evidence of divination for coordination to music.
this movings are not for the time when the movings come up, but for the movings for one beat after.

this semi final let me down.. an epic final, one worth remmembering and cherishing should of been kite vs greenteck, i would of went for my money's worth if i saw slim vs greenteck/ kite vs bruce/// but that didnt happen, =(

nelsons hits are so hard. but the fact that greenteck is so chilled out in his popping makes him so much more interesting to watch. nelson's sick but a bit too erratic in my opinion.
Yo theres alot of Salah to greenteck. He was good before they started groovin together, but he murders now. On point, creative, and bangs

Hey just to let you know, the poppers probably have a list of the songs that are going to be played or at the very LEAST have heard them before. You really think they all go into the battle having never heard the songs? How do you think greats like Salah, Bruce, and Kite come up with amazing moves that go hand in hand with the beat? On the fly? Rofl... They know the beat in and out so they can pop accordingly, would be impossible to do that without having heard the beat.
Hey people.. Judges don't just look at the pretty things, they look at the technical aspects too like on what beats they are hitting and what kind of hits the popper can do, if they can bang, bop, pop, etc. Plus Nelson had better musicality in this one, that can be luck with knowing the music or not. He won. I love Greenteck to death but I'm not gunna lie to myself and say he should have won when he clearly lost...

DOn't get me wrong I love Green, Salah, Poppin John's style...they're very animation/illusion based and they all have great control. But Nelson has such amazing groove, you can really see the difference in GROOVE between Nelson and Green. Nelson really looks like he is grooving and dancing, Green is as well but not as much. Both their styles are different and their both great. I guess it just depends what you're into. "Nelson No creativity?" Pfft, you obviously just don't know what to look for!

I love Greenteck but Nelson definitely took that. The first round Nelson absolutely won. His hits were harder, he covered more floor space effectively, and freaked the beat at certain times. Round 2 I felt was closer to a draw since Nelson looked like he was doing more of the same as in round 1. Round 2 teck didn't do anything that really wowed me he did go to the floor a little however he did not pull out any great tricks or hit difficult intricacies in the beat.
Greenteck took this for me. More control, more variety and cleaner.

Greenteck didn't seem to be himself but I still say he did enough to win or take it to a draw. Nelson did good but recently is starting to go abit crazy and hyper when he pops lol! I like it tho haha!

So you are saying as poppers pop they aren't thinking of what is coming up? You couldn't be more wrong. You have to think ahead and prepare at least some moves, how else do you think poppers line up amazing moves that go a long with certain parts of the beat? Sure they move with the beat, but for certain moves, you have to think ahead. What you are saying just doesn't make sense. You are just nit picking bro. How about you just enjoy the battle instead.

I'm a huge fan of Greenteck, he's one of my favourite poppers. But Nelson took this one. Greenteck seemed a little bit off this battle, look up his other stuff and see that he really dope. Nelson get's a lot of flack. I myself give him flack, I don't like his style that much, but he did improve a ton and he was really good here. You guys need to stop saying "This person won!!!" just because your a fan, and look at the battle objectively.
Still think greenteck done enough for a tie breaker but gawd was his rounds weak compared to previous stages in the tournament, hardly went to ground which is his cant touch me shit
