Vijay Prashad Warns Biden Is “Doubling Down” on Trump’s Anti-China Cold War Policy

  • Beijing has accused the U.S. of perpetuating a Cold War mentality as President Joe Biden and senior administration officials shore up alliances in the Pacific region to counter China’s growing influence and increasingly describe the country as a geopolitical threat. Vijay Prashad, director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, says the “bellicose” tone out of Washington is not because the U.S. sees China as a military threat, but because China threatens U.S. dominance in the scientific, technological and diplomatic spheres. “It’s very chilling what the U.S. government is doing in ramping up this cold war,” says Prashad.

USA is heading for self destruction ! The world has not treated USA as a common enemy yet and China based on histories is not interested in military offensive on any countries let alone interfere internal affairs of any sovereign countries , very sorry to know that USA is still in slumber . USA is forcing China to increase her military spending otherwise she will be next Iraq , Yemen , Afghanistan, Lybia and so on. ....

China has plenty of problems also. The leader of CCP is a psychopath, and is trying to have complete control over the people, jailing anyone who talks against the government.
They are trying to bully all of their Neighbors and trying to dictate to other nations what rules and laws should be passed by the government of other nations.
The two Canadians they are holding are only to counter the arrest the Canadian government had no choice to do because they have an agreement between the US and Canada to arrest anyone who has committed crimes against either nation.
And Hong Kong As well as Taiwan have way too many dual citizens, and wealthy powerful Nations as well.
So if the Chinese government goes into either one of these Sovereign areas and tries to invade, it will start a third world war.
and if that happens China's going to loose big time.

This Virus, just like many others, originated in China.
      China hid the outbreak.
China repressed and distorted the reporting.
They arrested those who tried to get the word out.
HOW are they the good guys?
You think China is giving vaccines out of the goodness of their hearts?
What is China getting in return??
To stay silent on their Humans Rights Violations??
China has been culturally cleansing the muslim community from the country.
Putting the uyghur people in internment camps.
Raping the women, taking their organs and using them for slave labor.
The WHO was shielding China in the early stages of the COVID outbreak.
I can't help think that the massive amount of money China gives to the WHO,
had something to do with it.

Who are we to tell them how they should be doing things, especially when our own imperial government continues to align with human rights violators like Saudi Arabia and Israel?
