I love your kitchenette area! Try to store things like rice, beans, and other staples in some jerrycans too. I always drop in either bay leaves or small dried hot peppers in the jerrycans to discourage weevils and other insects from getting in the foodstuffs. All the best, and thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
Food insecurity in Uganda is common, they buy food daily, they don't store food for long periods of time. I have yet to see Ugandan preppers.

@@TanyaNishailoc I am in Canada (near vancouver). My wife is Ugandan from Entebbe but is now with me here in Canada. I have traveled there six times in total. She/we had a small place near banga barracks in Entebbe. ..

How long does that gas cooker take to finish
About 5 to 6 month ,basing on your routine of cooking .but if you are basically alone,or 2 it can take even up to 8month

My monthly rent is 85000 ugx\ 23.6$\18.47 euro
Am actually thinking of getting that total gas but is it still at 250,000 for a full set. And how many times in a month would you say you refilled yours?.
It can run you for 7month straight I swear.you save more than one charcoal stove
The one I bought while life in entebbe ,is the one which I still have now
