  • If you haven't seen the first part of this series, go watch it first and come back!
    • Our guide to Japanese ...
After talking with experts and testing four different subscription boxes, Jenn ventures out to L.A.'s Little Tokyo to try to build a DIY box herself. We invited food blogger, Soy Nguyen to try Jenn's custom box as well. Watch to see if Jenn picked up on the lessons learned and if she sent off a good box or not.

This is a great series. These longer-form deep dives are really informative and useful.

As usual, I was not much interested in the subject matter but I love watching the ever-beautiful Jenn immerse herself in something she is passionate about. The new haircut is great!

I just noticed that some of the items you grabbed are Korean; therefore, it's a Japanese and Korean Snack Box. It's still very fun to try snacks from around the world.

Thanks for watching! Jenn makes a note about this while putting it all together. We couldn’t help but get some Korean snacks too!

This is fun way to learn about snacks from other countries, especially when the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is set to begin next month. 🏁

Now I'm all excited to create boxes for my son...either one that covers multiple countries, but with a focus on Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa etc? It's a great way create a reason to visit some grocery stores I would likely never otherwise visit.

It is not Japan that spicy foods are written in Lotte or Hangul. It is Korea. There is no spicy food other than wasabi in Japan.
