'The Party' is referring to life itself. The message is be yourself because life will be over before you know it... Before the party is over! :) It's a slow gradual build into epic-ness. Defo top 10 finish.
I love your reactions 🤭 I wasn't convinced about this sont in the beginning and now I love it 😍😍 I really like how Musti choses to pronounce and especially end the words.
What you were saying about the beginning being "unsettling" reminded me of the beginning of Latvia 2015. You think you understand where the beat is in the intro, then the vocal starts and you realize what you thought was beat 1 was really beat 4. Really jolts you into taking notice of the song and makes you want more.
I haven't heard all the songs yet, but from the ones I have Belgium might be in my top 5 at the moment. Switzerland is still the most interesting song for me this year, and Ireland stands apart too. This is a bit different, but I enjoy the melody, especially in the beginning that you called unsettling. For me it feels just organic and wild, before it gets more tamed and restricted by the rhytm. Then again it may just be how my brain works in general, so I feel at home in the chaotic part 🤣
Incredible multilayered song and excellent vocals. Best song by far and definitely my winner! I hope people will recognise the genius here as compared to some kitsch and parody entries that are ranked high as well by the bookmakers. Thanks for your interesting in depth review which makes me love this song even more 🤗
It’s a slow build and it works. I was really drawn by your interest and focus on how the artist created the whole narrative of the song. As usual, it made me appreciate it more. Great review. Well done 👏🏼 That it takes a few listens to really appreciate, might go against it in the contest….hopefully not. Thanks ☺️
This one didn't do much to me until a few days ago! Now it's growing on me! Same for Lithuania's entry! The voices in the background of Mustii are fans from all over the world who recorded themselves. I first thought it might be Scala/Kolacny brothers (the young women's choir), as they are a famous Belgian music export too! 😂 But it's fans singing.
It is in my personal top three. Mustii has unfortunately tried to increase the tension in the long-ish song's build-up and during some pre parties he didn't do well, vocally. Let's hope he decides to go back to the excellent basic.
Nice radiosong. Despite some Live-appearances that were vocally/technically plagued, I still like it. It did not however, translate very well onto the ESC-audiences, from what I saw. If he'd been allowed to play it with a Live band, that would have made a big difference.
For me the “chorus” doesn’t do enough. It just feels like a vessel to bring you back to the verses and the call and response at the end feels more like a post-chorus to me. The ending is strong but I feel disconnected from the piece
I don't know. This song gets me angry all the times. Catches my attention with a great intro, promises me everything with its crescendo, but then it simply stays there . Seems like aiming at heaven, simply using the elevator of a skyscraper, and when you get to the roof... policemen come and say "You can't stay here. Get down and goodnight".
A really nice song and great vocals (let's see how it sounds live), but nothing we haven't heard before. The key word is predictable. Reminds me of a K-pop ballad (my kid is a fan, I'm an involuntary connoiseur 🙄).
My personal number one this year
Magical Mustii💯%💥💥💥💫💫💫So glad with your reaction You get him. And you are right❤
Winner,winner.......epic song
Musti from spain my 12 points....
It would be awesome 🤩 if the public sing the chorus part that complements the “Before the party is over 🎶” one.

You look so happy when he finally delivers the message at the end of the song. Quite emotional to watch!

Love your videos! Can you react to Portugal's song please? Thank you ❤️
Shame it has gotten out of favor in last month or so.

Your disconnect is my connect❤

Wtf?
Huh⁉️
Bruvh?
The Eurovision semi-final wasn't what I expected from this song. Little sad about that.
