Maam, with due respect, but you are missing an important point: any planet in exlatation gives you things related to its karakatwa which are acceptable to a higher consciousness and the opposite is the case for debilitation.
Say, Jupiter in exaltation will give you wisdom and immense spirituality (the top level karakatwa of Jupiter) while Jupiter in debilitation will give you immense wealth, good grasping power, communication skills, children, husband etc (low level karakatwas of Jupiter).
The same applies to other planets.
So, as a thumb rule, if you are a materialistic person and looks for low level tangibles things, debilitated planets are better for your chart but if you are a highly conscious being and looks for the finest top notch karakatwas of any planet, exalted planets are better for you. Unfortunately, very few are there to realise and acknowledge those finer aspects as mostly they are intangible and subtle (not gross).
No, it's not true, I have not seen people with exalted Jupiter are super conscious or spiritually enlightened, pls examine carefully, debilitated Jupiter is not good for male offspring.

But, definitely, people having exalted Jupiter are more wise and mature in terms of outlook and vision. They don't study much because they get the essense of it all easily. They are a bit lazy in material terms when applying their wisdom because the top most karakatwa of Jupiter is not to push you towards materialistic success. An exalted Jupiter person struggles because he is unwillingly pushing himself to mundane aspects of life, may be because of peer pressure/social conditioning or other planetary combinations supporting that. It is like telling the fish to fly. That's the catch.

Madam whatever you are saying is perfectly right as per materialistic point but believe me I am an exalted jupiter, it gives you an internal happiness, no matter what your life condition is, it makes you an eternal optimist and close to the supreme power. Life experiences are deep and not superficial for a cancer jupiter, we go through extreme love and hatred emotionally. Jupiter is Guru that gives wisdom and wisdom never comes easy.

I have retrograde Jupiter in 12 degrees in cancer in 8th house (Sagittarius ascendant). But I feel that most of these does not apply in my case. I have good inclination in spirituality and guidance from a high level Guru which is helping in my spiritual journey and want to become a good disciple also I am living abroad (as it aspects my 12th house) in all comforts and good family support. Is it because it being in 8th house and it being retrograde? Please guide.
