I e watched this again last night, this weight Omers carrying well I think he’s not telling Defne because he’s afraid she’ll ask him about what he did in Italy and he won’t lie to her so his fear is losing Defne again. If she found out about his womanizing she’ll leave him in a heartbeat and he won’t risk it. It’s selfish of him but his fear has taken over him enormously and this Eda thing is something he’s afraid to tell her. Whether Eda was a girlfriend we’ll never know. But him not telling Defne makes it more like he’s guilty of everything he did in Rome. Ok they weren’t together but Omer knows Defne had no other men in her life and he was carrying on like Defne never existed. He was so wrong leaving for a year and never contacting her it anyone to see how she was. He was selfish and he knows it.

Nihan says she doesn’t ask Defne for anything-well Defne has your baby in her room at night to take care of, took him to work not to mention the biggest issue-she took on the responsibility of huge debt to help her brother so I would say she has done more then enough.
So everyone is ok that Nihan was lying to everyone too, approved of Defne returning to Ömer, until she got angry and confessed it just to spite Defne? What hypocrisy! Es que es muy fuerte que el día de tu boda y que ha costado tanto que llegara ese día y con lo enamorado e ilusionado que estas ya cuando vas por la alfombra al altar que te cuente tu novia semejante barbaridad.Ömer tenía que estar desecho,era como estar muerto en vida.Y aún aguantó,porque hubiera podido parar la boda en ese momento.Creo que es normal que se fuera y que no quisiera ver a nadie.Todos le habían ocultado la verdad.Claro que Defne sufrió mucho cuando Ömer se fue,pero los dos lo han hecho durante un año pero cada uno a su manera.

How dare Serdar speak like that to his sister. He forgot all about his fault, and Nihan f....., just drives me crazy. Grandmother never knew the whole story can be excused since she only cares to feed all of them, make Defne to marry. She is in her old-fashioned lifestyle, fighting with neighbors' and gossip.
Dafne singing Omer back to sleep after his nightmares is one of the sweetest scenes in this series ❤️

I like the fact that after everything Defne's family said, she still left to be with Omer. Grandma doesn't know the whole truth that's why she's overreacting.
However, I think Grandma is genuinely concerned because of the trauma they saw her go through. But she needs to know all Omer's kindness to her family.

When the family blames Defne for not telling her that she is seeing Omer again, I think this scene could have been edited much better, more realistically, this scene honestly makes me nervous and disappointed. I live in a pretty intense family, I have witnessed countless (painful) fights, so I know what a serious loud fight is like when there is no agreement. This is not how this scene would play out in real life. It is also a bit contraversial that Defne, who is quite temperamental and can quickly lose her temper, lets the family blame her for her actions and tolerates being unfairly judged and held accountable almost without a word, and she even feels guilty for kept secret. Would the Defne we met really react like this? She would scream and freak out and tell everyone in the family her truth and storm off, even if she loved them! If my family did this to me, I would probably freak out (and I'm not that type of person) and leave them with some door slamming...

Defne's family were extremely ungrateful.....Nihan was the absolute worse....her pettyness because Defne didn't walk her brother 100 steps for his anniversary was ridiculous.....Serdar was a male....not a man.....his wife pissed all over him....he only had mouth for Defne and the lil sister.....they all acted like defne was in the relationship alone, so she was the only person hurt....but ignorance is bliss.

As I re-watch these episodes, I think the reason Omer has hard time telling Defne about the nightmares is because he doesn't want her to feel guilty for triggering them. Her gift was the trigger for his PTSD and he probably didnt know he had it.
